As far as I can see and understand - ShivIka scene is real & Hijack is not. It was so very obvious that it was a nightmare even before I saw it on the IB forum.
No mention about a business trip was made and Shivvay would not leave without saying goodbye to his mom or Annika at this point. Both women are, it is very obvious, very important to him right now.
He picked his moms bangle from the bowl as well as Annika's bracelet. I understand someone would know the Bracelet as Annika's as she wears it all the time, but how would a stranger know about Pinky's bangle. Only a very observant son would and Shivvay has become very observant towards his mother lately so that she does not feel that she has lost him to Annika.
It is his way of smoothing relations between the two of them.

Why?? Because Shivvay initiated the hug??
But then Shivvay has cast aside all his reservations about NKK where Annika is concerned now so why would he not want a warm hug from his legally married and publicly accepted wife. Shivvay has always put propriety as very important in his life and has held back from any physical intamacy because of that. There is nothing improper right now with him wanting to hug his wife.

I think Annika is at a stage in her relationship where she would know if the person was Shivvay or not. There is a certain aura, chemistry and comfort that she feels with him. If the 'humshakal' thing does happen (I hope they do not go down that path) she would be the first person to figure that out.
Annika knows Shivvay better than he knows himself and vice versa. They are an exact half of each other.

Whatever Ms. Gul's faults rest assured that the respect or izzat of her FL is never pulled up for questioning once married. She will hang them, poison them, drown them or put them in a pit full of snakes - but compromise their purity will never happen from how much I know about her... I cannot say that about her ML though. She always compromises theirs 😆
Going to skip IB for some time.

Small advise - don't try to connect DBO to IB right now because the two are not running parallel as far as I can see. Treat them as two separate shows and you will panic less 😉
