I honestly think that Priyanka didn't cause the accident of Ranvir's sister...There's a possibility that Daksh was harassing her and while running away from him she accidentally fell infront of the Priyanka's car..We all know that Daksh is a complete psychopath and he wouldnt hesitate to do such a thing..

I hope when Ranvir comes to know about this she begs Prinku for forgiveness and she won't accept it and instead leave him,become a strong woman and go on to become a big business woman being the heir of Oberoi group and marry someone else who deserves her and respects her..That would be a real Nayi soch! Why should women always forgive men!

I almost cried when I was reading your post that's so true it's almost watching a episode of game of thrones for me i really hope that she never gets married to this guy we are living in a society that doesn't see women equal to mean and to show in a serie that it's ok you can do what ever you want to do to a woman and you don't get ponisment for that and a woman has to accept that and forgive him that's not ok

Had a vague feeling that Gul will eventually butcher PriVeer, and especially the ACP's character because that is what she excels in. Which is why I had almost given up on PriVeer when they suddenly disappeared from our screens. Glad I didn't resume the show already and tarnish the image of the ACP in my mind. He's waaay better in the fictions of his fans. Will survive on that!

P.S: Brilliant analysis! Twerps and the rest of us, the ACP fans, are indeed heartbroken.

thank you for voicing what many of us were probably thinking. i had been wondering for a while how it was that priyanka got pregnant by ranveer if she is so scared of him and does not like him. i will be honest i did not follow ishqbaaz regularly for a while so there is much i missed. i also do not know who dev is as mentioned somewhere else. my only conclusion was that maybe she was drugged or forced the twisted hindi drama series romatic forced way, if that makes sense. eitehr of which situation would mean that her so called protector brother should be beating up this guy and putting him behind bar not making her get married to him. but now with the rumor that she is being drugged into believing she is pregnant makes me still question the inteligence of the oberoi khandan. because if the girl is pregnant why has there not been a check up done by a doctor who could have easily proved the fact that home girl is not preggers.

what i want to know is when will the time come when the audience is considered intelligent and not brainless zombies

To be truthful, ACp Randhawa died the day he cornered Priyanka and threatened her to marry him. After that he started acting like a roadside gunda with Priyanka. ACp's entry a lot of positive vibes even though he was against Shivaay and Om in the begining because he had his reasons. I was happy that he'll make Priyanka much stronger, even after she revealed to him that she was the cause of accident.

That little cry she had while resting her head on his shoulder, the tears that dropped from his eyes were significant that he has let go of his revenge as he just wanted Priyanka to confess and wanted priyanka to face her fears.

Soon after he was ruined.

Even after that we were happy in our PriVeer land (PriVeer Story Circle). That story was extra ordinary. Their charcters were deep and we enjoyed playing with the characters in our own way.

GK has been playing with the emotions since long and I hate that.

Navin, another brilliant post from as always.

Was never a Priveer shipper. Now the way the ACP is acting, it is just like the criminals and lowlife he puts away behind bars, no different than them. For putting through Prinku through the emotional upheaval and torture is monstrous of him.

His mother is behaving like a sanskaari but her actions bely her words. Making googly eyes at her ex BF or from college days... talking about abshakun... it is really dumb of the makers to show all this.

I hope that Prinku finds her voice and fesses up or opens up to Anika and Om. She does not deserve this fate nor does any woman.

Such a great post Navin. I never was a PriVeer Shipper but initially Randhawa grew on me. I understood his pain and where he was coming from. The investigation and the digging while trying to sympathize with Prinku to get it was fine for me. It is what I expect from a Police Officer and the brother of an innocent victim. But when he started stalking her and forcing her to marry him in order to extract that revenge it went too far.
As for Gul I really don't know why all her hero's turn out to be such monsters.

This post just cleared out so many things for me as I have stopped actively watching IB.

I was of the opinion that the ACP is a grey character with some strong misunderstandings due to the past that would get cleared out once the truth surfaces. When he saved her in the camp, I still had some little hopes left that the tormenting would stop soon. But Prinku really does not deserve a man who can mentally play such horrific games and take advantage of her like this.

Wow Navin you are on fire these days. Finally thought I would drop in and saw your post. Yes, your right. The way his character has shaped up in the end is unpalatable. I was not a PriVeer "shipper". But I liked the swagger of the ACP when he was first introduced. I also liked how he was a foil for Shivaay and his and Om's "bitter chats" used to entertain me as well! :)

I could see what he was doing, trying to wear down the Oberoi's to get a confession. Then he finally got one, when to his surprise Priyanka admitted that SHE was the one in the wrong. She was the one driving. Finally a moment of vindication for Ranveer. He got his confession. Priyanka Singh Oberoi took responsibility for her crime! Up to that point, I was with this story.

Then came the part where he decided to torment her. I was not loving it, but a part of me wondered... is he doing this because he thinks he CANT get justice against an Oberoi in the usual means? I have heard of certain famous "hit and run" cases by famous or influential people in India, and it seems if you have the money and the power, you might actually be able to walk away from killing someone or reducing them to a comatose state. So was this his way of getting justice? Or at best getting Revenge? Does he think Revenge IS justice? I was having all these deep thoughts about this issue at one point. Then PriVeer disspeared and thoughts surrounding them also did.

But now comes the ugly truth of the fake pregnancy and drugs to simulate pregnancy. (For the uninitiated, Pregnancy can be detected if the hormone HCG is present in the urine). If the drug Ranveer is giving Priyanka is to create said hormone, then she can have pregnancy symptoms and even get a positive test. So no Priyanka is not that stupid that she has not done a pregnancy test. She may have done one and found it positive. But you are right this IS cruel and unacceptable. If Gul is trying to salvage a love story from this twisted mess, then I rest my case. I really don't know what to say? Their idea of the kind of man a woman should fall in love with is utterly disturbing to say the least. This is terror, and no part of this resembles a potential love connection. I think Priyanka had a much better chance of having a real love connection with Dev Chabra. While I like the actor playing Ranveer and think he has good screen presence and good chemistry with Subha, their potential story has been practically ruined by Gul and Harneet with this macabre "Drug" angle. I really don't know where this story can go from here accept straight to hell in a hand basket!
