Wow! Ever since the ShivIka wedding, I stopped watching the show but I had imagined that there wasn't much potential for Gul to sink any further. Your post reveals the direction the show has taken and I am glad I stopped watching. The Indian TV industry really revels in demeaning women.

I am sorry that my ACP had to fall at the hands of the CVs but yes, what else can be expected from this unimaginative bunch...and it is sickening how they hold up the TRPs as an excuse to show such nonsense. This is a kind of assault on our minds, isn't it? I am not talking about turning a character evil when I say assault. I am talking about how violence and abuse is being normalized using 'mindless entertainment' as the excuse.

P.S. Btw, didn't know you'd read my stuff on PriVeer. Thanks for the generous comment on them. Means a lot coming from you. Feel twice betrayed. First she destroyed my ShivIka and now my ACP. Gul doesn't deserve the kind of obsessive interest I'd once showered her characters with. Peace out.

Even after that we were happy in our PriVeer land (PriVeer Story Circle). That story was extra ordinary. Their charcters were deep and we enjoyed playing with the characters in our own way.

GK has been playing with the emotions since long and I hate that.

I really miss our story circle days. Let's revamp it with a new story. Maybe set in an AU. Should be a fresh start for us and give us an opportunity to cleanse our minds.

👏 , so true ! This is low , even by Gul's standards! All the male characters either have no morals, or the balls to do the right thing . They are mere spectators or plain instrumental in degrading all their women. And the women, less said the better . They are extremes , either too weak or outright bitches ! Wonder what Gul and her creative team have been chomping on!
