Ok first thing's first, in the present dark atmosphere of that psycho's ( you know who, don't want to spoil my article by taking his michmichi inducing name) entry the only way the fandom is able to be still sane is because of our hunt for small small positive things, grasping them tightly in our fists and trying to erase the disgusting feelings that that creep has filled in all of us... now today that positive thing was shivika scenes and many have discussed it in length, so am gonna take on a new thing BACKGROUND SCORE OF ISHQBAAAZ.
Guys ishqbaaaz enjoys the most popularity online and hence if the love outpouring for the actors and the writers is overwhelming so is the hatred as evidenced recently, because the other shows that are above ishqbaaaz in the TRPs cater mainly to the trp aunties and doesn't have as huge and as loyal a fandom as us... so every ishqbaaazian pat yourselves on the back...
As we all know shivika isn't your typical couple onscreen who fall in love after only some cute antics of the heroine or the typical catfights among the leads... no, we are all thankful for the writers for developing the depth in their relationship that was not seen earlier on TV history and if I may say so won't be seen in the future... their relationship is not just physical attraction or infatuation, it's that and more than that... and this is supported by their song O JAANA too... if you observe the songs given to each of them Om's song is a beautiful melody indicating their purity, Rudra's song is playful showing their youthfulness... but shivika's song is a ballad which is though beautiful and melodious is painful at the same time, it tugs your heart strings and makes you feel both happy and sad at the same time, such is the depth of shivika's relationship, theirs won't be an easy journey but their love will have the most depth than ever could be imagined and this is supported by the beautiful background score of various versions of O JAANA which makes their love look more real and painful, so here's some of my favourite ones feel free to add yours to the list...
1. When Annika asks shivaay as to why would he kill for her and he utters 'kyun ki tum Meri bi..' the bgm is heaven... that khoya khoya part played on piano with the accompanying orchestra is bliss, and one question lingers in my mind 'Why is their love so difficult' but again maybe because it's one of a kind.
2. When shivaay helps annika in lifting the Ganapathi statue and they play that beautiful music with 'tu ru ru ru ru ru ru' with added drum beats for the first time, it's like signalling to us 'Hey the dynamics between them has changed, this is the beginning of a new relationship and both shivaay and Annika are aware of the changing dynamics' hayee 😳
3. When both Shivaay and annika place the Kalash in the right manner before their wedding the music that they play in the background is as if asking us 'Are you ready for the new stepping stone in shivika's relationship' like they blow the trumpet before starting any celebration in the temple, this was no less celebratory...
4. The sad khoya khoya part played on piano with interspersing violin that they played for the first time when shivaay will be running behind annika who's ignoring him post her engagement and shivaay's angst filled face brought tears to a lot of us...
5. When Annika somehow convinces shivaay to have food and he'll be telling her of all the difficult words that she uses on him and getting stuck at chop... the gradual orchestral buildup that they do leading to O JAANA accentuated with annika's sweet and innocent expression and shivaay dumbstruck at his annika and telling her 'tum na ekdum annika ho'... didn't we all wish that we would also get to experience such cute moments in our lives 😳
6.When in one of our favourite scenes of all time where shivaay's asking if she's feeling something as he holds her hand first followed by pulling her towards him and then whispering in her ear, the scene itself made us all blush so hard and when it was enhanced by combining shivaay and annika's instrumental theme we were all reduced to a puddle 😳
Of course there are many more, but I can come up with only these for now and when I was surfing the channels and came across other serials with their garish music and showing bright light effects on every faces after a shocking incident I feel proud to say that I am an ishqbaaazian 😎 😎
