Amazing post Navin.

Yes, Shivika have been silently communicating with their eye locks and double edged words that is not easily discernible to the viewer at first. It has been building up gradually and Shivaay is now caught between a rock and a hard place. He is upset with Anika as she is going to LEAVE. The scene in OM's room when she said thank you was very revealing. He was ready to cry... and SSO. I think both have been working on the same broad plot and looking out for the other.

He began the farak game as she forced him to take the step of marrying Tia. When she wanted to leave after that, he stopped her and asked her to plan his wedding. For someone who professed to have lost her memory, how could she be such a superb event planner?? No one stopped to even think on this. Shivaay trying to make her react to his closeness with Tia and her continued refusal to acknowledge that it makes a difference has SSO on the edge.

A desperate man, clutching at straws and today's morning scene of MS/Sindoor was just a reaffirmation of their resolve to carry out the plan no matter what. IT might be the last time, she stays as MRS.SSO. Yesterday, too in their room, he told her that he would marry Tia no MATTER WHAT. A signal as they know how manipulative and smart the NB's are.

Shivaay is showing that he cares, not a man of many words and that is why Anika looks dazed when she hears those words from him. He is replying to her cutting questions of who is she to him, what is her place in his life? he is showing in so many ways that he cares for her. Anika knows that she can't live with him as living without his respect and love is even more painful and heart wrenching than living with him as is.

Truly brilliant portrayal by Narbhi these past few weeks. Should watch their scenes from Feb 16 and try to decipher their hidden code. 😆

Honestly, I'm been waffling around with Ishqbaaaz writing for a while now. I had some stuff happening in my personal life that kind of interrupted the scheme of things, but since then I haven't really been able to get back.
I have these great ideas, and then when I go to write, there's just a bit of a blank there. Like honest to god, I've been trying to write this story called Before There Was You for ShivIka since the beginning of this memory loss track, but everything I've been writing sounds so terrible, or wordy or just not right.

There are big, red flags now, because I've been forcing myself to write, so that I can update. I'm just holding back right now, because I know that even if I can will myself to write, I will not be able to do justice to any of it.

And so I've been doing exactly what Navin is suggesting, and it kind of works. I've been writing stupid, fluffy drabbles about bloody cake (!) but at least it's not making me feel absolutely useless.

Another suggestion ladies, if any of you three want story prompts (like the stuff from the OS series), I have an inventory of them. Sometimes, random words can spark our pens again, and these prompts have helped me before. Give me a shout if you want me to send them over!

Hoping for all of our sakes that this block ends soon ❤️

Adding my two cents , i agree with most points discussed her. Yes, most not all.

Like all suggested , I too think shivaay must have struck a deal with Anika that she may leave after problems are sorted. I contradict that he may not have told she may leave after tia's exposure because at that tadap scene where he tells her that she is his need he was not aware of tia's negative side. His suspicion for tia started much later when he saw her hands placing Anika's mobile in video camera. That his exactly why he kept on saying i still cannot believe tia would do something like this.

He may have suggested she can leave him after sometime but he never expected her to leave him in reality. He never really expected her to take the plunge and leave him.

He got really scared when everyone was against them being together and hence he decided to leave his family for her. It was not a part of their original plan like many said. He never in a billion years expected her to go behind his back but she did. He just could not digest, that not only was she unaffected by others trying to separate them , she was also suggesting him to marry tia. Then the HISTORICAL POOL SCENE HAPPENED.

He was shocked to see her unaffected by his conversation by the pool side. He was caught offguard by the NEW STONE SINGH OBEROI in the town. Being the adamant child he is, wanting to prove his point, wanting to make her realise his pain he announced that he will marry tia.

But Anika started leaving without uttering a word with her baggage. He expected her to scream , announce her displeasure or react in some other way. He may ( i repeat may) have offered that she may leave him after sometime but was actually not ready for it. He never in his wildest dreams thought she would leave him but she burst his imaginary bubble.

When he saw her leaving silently , he got all riled up and announced that she will organise his shaadi. He expected her to voice out her displeasure but got none in return.IT ACTUALLY KILLS HIM THAT SHE IS NOT AFFECTED BY SEPARATION THOUGHT AS MUCH AS HE IS AFFECTED. He actually realised that she may leave him and it is not going down with him. And thus began the FNP game.

He can actually see her leaving him after tia's exposure and he is hell bent on preventing it .

I agree with everyone's thought that ML was fake but feelings were not. FNP was not fake. He had tried ever trick under his hat ; he even tried seducing her into accepting her that she cares,bothers. But Anika however hurt she may be however broken she may be did not budge. He is fearing defeat now. Anika's thank you killed him literally. nkk may not have vanished totally from his mind now but on any grounds he is not ready to leave her out of his grasp.

PS: Saw the new OLV where he is taking pheras with tia. He is so not interested in doing it and is desperate for Anika to show up. He keeps looking at entrance for Anika's arrival. Our billu is so much in love 😳

Navin.. i luv wat uve written. But unfortunately i dont think that is the case. U see for tht u hv to trust the cvs and gul and at this point i dont. Taking the example of humsafars and qubool hai.. the primary aim is to run the show on indian tv.. as long as possible. Which means catering to the TRP aunties FIRST. Im not sure how much we the online audience figure in this. Maybe a little as we dont add anything on the TRPs but we do create a buzz abt the show in the media. Now abt the international audience ..some of it is already watching the show on indian channels. The rest is very down the line. Also i think international audience digs traditional shows maybe more than TRP aunties.

So evn though i really reallyyy want wat u say to be true..i don't think the CVs are doubling. Dont think they are capable of it because of the way they have to write and the time constraints. Also they nnow have DBO on their plate as well. We can only wait and watch and hope this travesty makes SOME sense.

Because don't forget--he truly does not know anything about her. And he wont like anything of what he finds out. Right now, she is Sahil's own sister for Shivaay. She has an address, a saagi Bhai, a Bua, Parents (dead). He thinks she has lost her patents, middle class people who are beneath him anyways. And refuses to use their last name for some Anika type reason. But--the truth is SO MUCH WORSE, there has to be a reason why Shivaay doesn't know it yet.

That she literally is an orphan, from a home, abandoned. Missing some Chutki. No idea why she's orphaned, why she has nightmares. What murky stuff is behind her being left in a abusive orphanage. If she was Sahil's asli sister? Okay. That's bad enough as it is. Low class, not of the right NKK. But Neha--she has NO NKK. Not even a low class one.

That's still waiting. I don't want your heart broken with a remarriage when he will reject her soon-- for what she cannot fix, and a lacking he will not forgive.

@Black: I don't really call if he thinks Sahil is Anika's real brother or that Anika's parents were some middle class people who died hence she doesn't use their name...these points have never been touched upon yet, in the show! Infact, he never gave a thought why she doesn't have a last name or why she doesn't disclose it, he doesn't know that she doesn't use it!

I have always felt and said...Anika having Naam Khoon is something that won't matter to Shivay! And I don't think he's getting an easy way out now if she doesn't leave...they both have faced enough after marriage and if they are still together, its for a reason, Shivay too, has faced his share of miseries last couple of months!

You know Navin, I really don't think he would reject her, Never! And I have reasons to think so😆

But in future I do think Anika would go away from him, but not bcoz he rejects her...separation might happen in future but not Now!

And I still strongly believe there was no such deal and Anika has no plans to leave or Shivay has no such fear that she would leave him after Tia is exposed or that he agreed she can go and made such a deal...this won't be Shivika for me!😆 Things would be happy for a while before next track starts I guess so remarriage, Pinky accepting Anika as DIL and Shivika relationship in focus...something I am looking forward to !

i agree with the post and yes i also feel the play within the play. her questions to him are part of THEIR problem. they have nothing to do with tia or her gang.

i just hope ke aisa hi ho. we cant' hope much from these serials.

I agree that there must be a conversation that took place after shivaay was discharged from the hospital, when he came to take Anika home.

Also the Divorce papers that Anika signed( when she wore that red dress), Shivaay didnt sign the papers and Anika is unaware of this fact. She thinks Shivaay will eventually leave her, so she prepared herself to leave OM after Tia's exposure. But Shivaay is SSO afterall, he wont tell her this. He will force her to stay back everytine she is about to leave saying that, there are 6 months before our divorce, then 5 months and vice versa, but the fact is he cant let her go, because Anika is not only his zaroorat but also his Zid. He doesnt like to loose at all, and Anika is a Challenge for him, as omru pointed this out once. Now we will have to see how Anika's past affects shivaay, it could be either negative or positive , who knows. The thing is Shivaay has chnaged a lot. During the initial episodes he called Anika trash, but now Anika is his Zaroorat, it is love actually, but SSO thinks from his mind, so he cant give a name to his feelings. On the other hand Anika is a very determined person, she thinks from both her heart and mind. She for sure knows that Shivaay can never accept her, so she is mentally prepared to leave Shivaay and move on in life. But I am sure Anika is not going out of OM as of now, because their will be Divorce order stay, which is usually 6 months, and Shivaay will use this reason to keep Anika with him.😊

You're one of the only people I know that can make analysis posts sound so beautiful. As usual, you've left me completely floored with your brilliance ❤️

Ever since we found out that Annika may be potentially faking her memory loss, from the very first OLV with Annika, Rudra and the fake blood, it's been eating away at me. For someone who, for all rights and purposes, is portrayed as innocent, and for lack of a better word, pure, it sure didn't add up. That was probably one of the first triggers that put me off this whole track.

And then the wedding OLVs came out, and I honestly didn't know what to think. The whole wham-bam-haha-we-got-you thing just didn't work for me. It's too contrived, and it really put a damper on all the ShivIka angst that we, as fans, were feeding off. Put me off even more.

So honestly, the only thing that I really need to say here is thank you. If there is even the smallest possibility that what this post outlines is true, then the CVs will have a loyal viewer forever.

I gave up reading into IB a long time ago, especially because the show and its writers are always so flighty; chopping and changing. I always say this though, each character they have written here is beautiful in its own way, as are some of the subplots, but unfortunately, the writers don't always follow through. So I'm hoping and praying now that they have half as much insight into this current track as this post does.

I completely agree with every single thing you've written. There needs to be some sort of internal battle here. Maybe one that the family still won't be privy to, until Annika actually leaves him. This whole drama, the MFNP arguments, the fake wedding, this can't lead to nothing. At this point, Tia's exposure just falls flat, if there isn't anything else to prop it up. I'm honestly surprised that they managed to drag Tia and her evil storyline on for 9 months, because the way she was acting throughout, makes me think that even a five year old would have been able to catch her in the act.

Anyhow, I'm glad that this NB track is over, and now I hope that we actually get down to some more family drama. There are so many open possibilities here; Pinky and Annika, Tej and Jhanvi, Svetlana and Omkara, Shivaay and Tej, and obviously, Shivaay and Annika. They can do so much with what they have right now, so I'm hoping that another random external vamp doesn't come in to screw things up again.

At least, we need some insight on what is happening with Shivaay and Annika. They can't go back to awkwardly living in the same bedroom, with cutesy fights, and the occasional blush sequence. It just won't make sense right now. Things have changed, drastically, now that Tia is leaving. There is no imminent wedding hanging over their heads, no divorce proceedings that they can really fall back on, now that he's practically going to announce that he's still married to her. If this is how it keeps going, there is never going to be an end here. Something needs to happen. He needs to confess, or she needs to leave, or he needs to do something shitty, or she needs to find her self-respect again. As long as something changes for them, because it can't go back to normal anymore. There have been way to many insinuations, too much pain, too much lashing out for either one of them to keep going on like they are right now.

I'm sorry, but I still maintain that that DBO conversation is something, it means something. For god's sake, if they wanted a ShivKara conversation, they could've bloody talked about Svetlana, or their supposed plan, the freaking weather even. There was no need to take the conversation to Annika's NKK, and their future children. Harneet Singh is one intelligent woman, so I assume that she didn't just throw in that dialogue there for the heck of it.

I think that his beliefs will hold him back. And even if Annika relents, from whatever deal that they've played between each other, she will want answers. Answers that he won't give her, that he's not ready to give her. This is why the DBO conversation is so symbolic; because he's not ready to give her the one thing she really wants. There's going to be some sort of separation; whether its physical, or her cutting him out of her life. There needs to be one, or the current track won't make sense.

On the contrary, something else could happen and it absolutely terrifies me. The only way that Shivaay can get her to stay for good is if he tells her that he loves her - which she has assumed is impossible right now. So if there is more development on the romantic angle, and he eventually realises that he loves her, he may tell her to get her to stay. And then, when NKK comes back to bite them, that's when the real angst will start.

Between the two, I would easily prefer the former. Anything actually, as long as something big comes out of this long-winded, and otherwise pointless track.
