Obviously it was a good scene otherwise, well enacted by both NM and Kunal...no one is denying that.

But it jars quite significantly with where the storyline is in IB...that is the problem. For people who watch both shows, it would be especially confusing to see one thing in IB and then few minutes later, see some totally other viewpoint in DBO...what is the audience to think?

I'm finding it especially funny that tomorrow's DBO precap shows OmRu back in OM with Svetlana...so now an IB epi will end in OM and then DBO will begin in OM too? LOL so how is this anything but a random one hour of IB?

And what happened to Daadi ki sister that Om was supposed to go live with?

NKK conflict is central to Shivaay's personality and deserved to be addressed in the IB timeline...so what is it doing in DBO?

Clearly this scene was shot before the Shitia wedding prep epis started...so what are we to glean from this? That on one hand, Shivaay is going the distance in touting his shaadi to Anika, claiming his haq over her, playing faraq games, projecting hurt on her for pushing him into marrying Tia but at the end of the day, it's just a random "benaam rishta"? 😆 By Billu logic, Anika should just hang around him all day wearing the symbols of being married to him but that's it?

He actually managed to think of children also😆...with someone he claims to only feel "liking" for...ROFL...and I couldn't help but think of the baanjh scene when Anika wailed about not being able to give him children...it was no problem for him there...so how does this reconcile with what he told Om today?

Clearly the writers don't give a crap about character consistency and dump a scene here and there as they please😆

Maybe he said about not having kids because he don't want kids with her.😆

But chodega bhi nahi aisa hi benaam rishte me raho forever. 😆 He thinks too short term. Abhi ka problem resolve bhi nahi just push it aside seems to be his funda in general. Kids tak soch liya yahi badi baat hai. 😆

Can i just say that i am absolutely ecstatic about SSO's confession? For I do believe this can be an indication of an upcoming separation track.. well, at least i hope it is. I have been wishing for the afore-mentioned track since months, as i think it is high time that Anika took a stand for herself and just stop taking all the crap that Shivaay and his family have thrown, and is still throwing at her. If not for that reason, she should at least realize what good it is to stay in OM, when there is no hope for SSO to let go of his staunch (and idiotic) NKK beliefs. Anika should overhear Shivaay's conversation, similar to the one he had with Om, to finally understand the hopelessness of their future together if SSO could never give respect to her as his wife, and an Oberoi member. Then she could leave him and start anew in a new city, because i want the separation to not just last 2-3 episodes, and open her catering business in order to repay the loan she owes SSO. I want her to be strong and independent, like she used to be before the forced marriage, and not turn out to be just another Gopi bahu.

Dev bhi toh mistress ka beta tha which even the first wife accepted. Even them shivaay threw him out and held him not suitable for Prinku. Om ka situation dev se different kaise? 😕 Om ke liye ek minute ke liye bhi affect nahi huva. Immly he was like Om should not know. 😕
