In DBO, ShiOm converse about Anika and NKAK- A very poignant scene. And not as bad as I expected.đł
I insist, it's a sweet scene despite the heavy overtones. An honest conversation b/w ShiOmâ¤ď¸
SSO speaking to Om using Anika's words like raita phailana and sametna...even Om points out that he has changed and is more of Shivaay than SSOâď¸
It's a sweet scene actuallyâ¤ď¸ SSO looks so boyish in this scene!
Om tells SSO that Anika has changed him for the better and is special for him...SSO looks uncomfortable and says that he does have feelings for Anika but he can't name them.
Ek doosre ke liye liking hai, fikr hai...lekin ek cheez nahi hai. Future.đ
But yeah, he doesn't see a future with her, can't let go of his beliefs...and can't see her as the mother of his children.đ
He said, I want to move towards her, but ek cheez mujhe rok leti hai.
Om looks disgruntled and asked whether it is his NKAK.
Shivaay says yes, his belief system is firmly in place.
It's such a heart-rending scene with full of feels.
SSO does admit that he likes Anika and has unlabelled feelings for her...but he doesn't see a future with her or her as the mother of his children.
Is this scene brutal? Yes. Honest? Yes. Heart-wrenching? Yes.
But what alleviates it is his admission that he does feel for her and how he endearingly uses her language, even Om points out that the credit for changing him goes to Anika...so this implies that even in this regard Anika will change him.
Sure, it is disheartening to hear him say this, but it is the central conflict underlying their story. How he is going to fight with his belief system and attain his love.
This scene charts their path for the future TBH. As SSO himself said, rishta benaam hai...To be continuedâ¤ď¸
