I agree. This man has been keeping himself in check for a very long time now because firstly the Tia issue and secondly because of the fact that their level of intimacy was at 'first base'.

He has never gone that far before and has always been respectful of her comfort level because he knew she was immensely physically attracted to him and so was he, to her. So any drastic level of intimacy would was not necessary.
