TS-"Shaadi...Ek Baar Phir..!"
Shot 1:
Anika was going through mixed emotions ever since he had assigned her the job of a wedding planner yet again. This time an unofficial one.
She had asked him to marry Tia in front of everyone. But knew he wouldn't agree a bit. After all he knew, that Tia had been messing around, suspiciously, lately.
But his YES the very next morning came to her by surprise. The previous night he had been scolding her for the idea. He told her that he would never let her go. He said he would set everything right. He was even ready to leave with her.!
There as usual in the morning was a new colour out. He had agreed to marry the Tia Kapoor. He loved doing this. Setting all her plans on fire.
If that wasn't enough, he made sure she did the preparations of the wedding.
"Tum chathi ho naa main Tia se shaadi karoon, tum apne aap ko zimadaar maanti ho naa inn haalaton ki, tumse Tia ka dard nahi dekha jaata naa..theek hai..Main Tia Se Shaadi Karoonga..Do din mein hum shaadi karenge...It will be a personal affair..! Aur iss shaadi ki saari tayaariyaan TUM karogi..!"
His words rang in her ears, as she finished arranging the thaal. The mandap was set. The bride was getting ready. Perhaps the groom too.
And here she was stuck between being herself and The Kalawati. She was so confused by the recent happenings she dint know what she should do.
He wasn't ready to let her go, But was ready to marry Tia.
He dint back out from the Divorce but neither did he name their relationship.
Their Marriage, did it really not mean anything to him.!?
Nothing..??
She quickly wiped away the lone tear at the verge of falling before anyone could see. Once again he had brought their relationship to where it was. Back to square one yet again.
It was like every time there was another person she was with. He was the Ghajni not her.!
Daadi put her hand on her shoulder.
"Anika puttar...tu pakka yeh shaadi ..."she was cut=off.
Anika smiled at the old lady, who was always there right by her side no matter what.!
Anika-"Daadi...aap kehti hain naa jo hota hai ache ke liye hota hai...yeh bhi ache ke liye ho raha hain..!"
Daadi smiled sadly. "Ab Billu aur tere beech ka maamla hai, iss baar main beech mein nahi bolungi..kyunki..ab tum dono sab jaante ho...sab samajte hoo...! Jaa yeh Billu ko de aa...! " She hands her a broch.
Anika sighs and walks to their...his room.
She knocks on the door. "Hmm..!"
She walks in, he was dressed in a creamish white embroider Sherwaani, his green eyes sparkled, his manner and vibes magnificent as always. His hair perfectly done. He dint wear the pagdi this time she noticed.
Anika-"Yeh daadi ne aap ke liye diya hai!"
Shivaay scanning her face for a hint of emotion- "Pehena Do!"
Anika-"Aap khud hi pehen li jiye..!"
He holds her hand -"Pehena Do!" he says his words clear and crisp.
She looks into his eyes startled. She slowly moves close to him. Her eyes fixed into his. Those eyes with that determination, with that dominance bought back memories.
The memories of the Shaadi... Their Shaadi.
Her hands trembled as they reached the upper right part of his chest to fit the royalish golden broch there.
Shivaay went down the memory lane, sceptical about what was to come. Will her memory come back .?
Her memory was his only hope.
She wondered what was to come. Will he ? Or he wont..!
Shivaay-"Ouch"
Anika-"Kya hua?"
Shivaay-"Chubaa.!"
Anika -"Dard ho raha hai naa!?"
Shivaay-"hmm...
"Bahut "he said aside.
Anika -"Galti aapki hain!"
He turns to meet her eyes. This was his Anika..! Wasn't it.? The way she looked at him.
Shivaay-"Tum he sambhal ke rehna chaiye thaa...! Yahi chaathi thi naa tum..ye Shaadi!"
Anika nods still confused at the implication of his words.
"Tanha adhoora sa
Khaamosh lamha sa
Tehra hua hai dil yahaan
Mehsoos kar le tu
Jazbaat ki khushbu
Khud se karun kya mai bayaan..!"
She was about to leave when he holds her hand and stops her.
Shivaay-"Tum he kuch bhi yaad nahi aaya?"
Anika screws her eyes shut, gains composure, faces him, nods and walks out freeing her hand.
As soon as she leaves, he bangs his fist onto the wall.
Shivaay walks down the stairs with Tia. His gaze fixed on Anika. Tia was lost in her own thoughts.
She looked up at Shivaay as if to say something but then stopped.
They moved to the mandap. He walked past her, making her heartbeats race out of time. She was dumbstruck at what was happening. Somewhere down she had a hope he wouldn't marry. The hope was crumbling.
They sat on the mandap, shivaay kept stealing glances at her in the hope that at any moment his Tadibaaz Anika would be out and stop the happenings then and there. His hope was crumbling with every moment.
Rudra comes around. Only four hours back he had landed back in Mumbai as soon as he knew his brother was marrying Ek Baar Phir..!
He had warned him, pleaded him tried every possible way to change his mind but to no good. On top of that even Om was unreachable. He walked upto Anika and stood behind her whispering.
"Bhabhi please yeh shaadi rokiye ab sirf aap hi rok sakti hain..!"
She did not bulge a bit, her mind was in a whirlpool of its own.
Rudra crestfallen.."Yeh ho kya raha hai.! Ab mujhe hi kuch karna padega.!"
Walking upto the centre, he stood before the mandap.
"Panditji ek minute pause please."
Rudra-"Bhaiya for one last time... aap sure hai...!"
Shivaay startled, looks at Anika and nods in a yes.
Rudra with a crying expression.
"Bhaiya aap aise kaise kar sakte hain..aap ne "kuch kuch hota hai" nahi dehki.!?
Shivaay-What!?" His eyes wide, as he drags the word.
Rudra-"Haan aapne suna nahi kya ...
Hum ek baar jeete hain,
Ek baar marte hain,
Pyaar bhi ek baar hota hai,
aur shaadi ...wo bhi ek baar hoti hain !"
Toh aap kyunkar rahe hain "Shaadi Ek Baar Phir?"
Shivaay blinked blankly as Rudra said it in SRK style.
Tia gets emotional listening to what he said.
Both Tia and Shivaay go down the memory lane to their first wedding.
Shivaay brushing his thoughts-"Ho gaya...maine decide kar liya hai Rudra.!"
Pinky-"Exactlies..!"
Rudra-Anika bhabhi aap abhi toh kuch boliye...!
Anika stares at him wide eyed.
Rudra-"Aap ke pati parmeshwar kisi aur ke parmeshwar bane waale hain...aap aisa kaisa hone de sakti hai...aap toh Ghar mera Mandir type bahu hain naa toh aap ek sautan ko kaise aane de sakto hai aap ke mandir mein kaise ...kaise bhaabhi kaise..?
He says overacting in serial types.
"Bhabhi now even India wants to know.!"
Anika stays silent. So does everyone else.
Pinky -"Ho gaya...maar liye dialogue...ab side ho...aur panditji ko resumes karne ko bol!"
Rudra makes a puppy face and follows the instructions.
"Panditji...ad break ho gayi...aap resume kariye..!"
Goes aside folds his arms and stands.
Shivaay's thoughts :
"Yeh Anika mujhe rok kyun nahi rahi...agar aisa hi chalta raha toh meri shaadi ho jaayegi PHIRSE...! Pehle hi ek Khidki-tod Dictionary kam hai jo yeh Universal Dictuonary...nahi nahi...!"
He looks at Anika in hope she would come forward and stop the damn wedding!
The panditjii asks them to stand up. Shivaay gulps giving a terrorized expression. Tia reflects the same expression. The pandit jii gives Shivaay a few flowers to hold. Shivaay blankly stares at the door. Remembering how the first time he was about to get married to Tia, Anika had ran in through the door and stopped the wedding.
That now seemed a distant dream. How he wanted her to do the same thing yet again!
