SC's acting also can't salvage how annoying Anika has gotten in this memory loss track now...Re: NM's acting...well the premise itself doesn't seem like it was intended as very emotional despite all the grand talk of ehsaas and whatnot...he was being almost clinical about the whole thing despite the random "main tumse" outbursts...

I think how it's eventually going to be solved is that Robin's going to barge in at nick of time. So shadee was anyways going yo happen. Plus, it's good for TRPs.

Yes, Anika said she didn't expect anything but love is selfish too, na. I don't blame her for wanting answers. As to why now...

I don't know. :\ I agree I'd have preferred Anika - as Anika - to demand answers but I'll take it as one of those random faults in editing and writing we've learnt to live with (or at least I have)

However, and I'll give you this, the magic is weaning. Had this scene come when I'd started watching IB, I would've teared up. This time around, it just felt cathartic. Ke finally thori frustration nikli. Thori si, evwn though inconsequential, progress hui ShivIka main. But that's it. The disconnect is growing, I'm honestly losing interest and fast-forwarding many ShivIka scenes, too. and the writers need to buck up.

Because while I agree with NM that his chemistry with SC is crackling, it's not yhe kind of once-in-a-lifetime chemistry that say, SaRun shared. The kind that was wnough to keep audiwnces emotionally invested despite lackluster writing and truly horrible editing.

One more thing, Gul has a horrible reputation when it comes to handling 2 shows. DBO is off to a great start and I'm expecting IB to go even further down the drain.

Yesterday I posted my comment about how I liked and enjoyed the episode. As always, it did have its lapses.. but someone the positives weighed more than the negatives (or so I thought).

I have read some of your reviews here about how the episode did not connect with you guys, and read through your reasons. Honestly, I cannot refute any of them 😕. So, now I am confused about why I liked the episode... 😆

I think I have been watching IB episodes's these days as pseudo stand alone episodes and not really looking for a holistic picture (because there never is one). Also, instead of both of them being silent, Anika at-least asked some questions yesterday which put Shivaay on the back foot. I love it when this guy is forced to do something that he doesn't want to do...😆

This morning again has me frustrated because as per the new OLV, Shivaay is going all out to make Anika admit that it makes a difference to her... Fhat the wuck? I had hoped that he would acknowledge his feelings... at-least to himself, but this insufferable man is making Ani's life difficult again?

pri she's tadpaooing him enough na so he has to get back tu zyada Matt soch and tbh it's tit for tat agar she can go to this extent and play with his emotions by doing this MEMORY LOSS DRAMA then so can he and mind you he's doing this caz she pushed him to marry Tia he personally didn't had any intentions not today not yesterday not ever before so in this case m not gonna be harsh on him.

p.s I went back only to watch the 2 scenes and trust me I felt so much better this time round i guess despite my issues and complaints they are good I liked her asking him if he was going to break all ties with her than why is he reminding her if any rishta and how ek dum se he replied nshin aisa nahi hai.that's the hint that's the max he will say from his mouth .he never ever intended to leave her even tho that's like a jhunjuna he keeps Latkaying in everyone's face that he plans to divorce her but never actually means it then his trust me whatever I will do will be for your good made me so happy.

and last scene too on its own is much better

but I still am not 100%sure about how I feel about them keeping all the other logical points in mind.

have stopped expecting continuity long ago...

btw why are they having this grand ceremony inviting outsiders...for the outside junta arent shitia already married...😕

I haven't commented before but I am a regular reader of your threads.

Things That stood out for me in the pisode were NarBhi, ShivIka convo and of course- Anika's sleeves *touchwood*😆

There have been a lot of loopholes in the past few tracks, so I am not expecting this to be well handled either. But, I just wish (what I have done for so long) that this track would set things in motion. I mean, there have been too many loose ends, and all of them are behaving as obstacles for ShivIka and we find ourselves back at square one.

Today there were nice scenes between ShivIka. How I wish Anika actually had Amnesia. Then, there could have been so much development between ShivIka. And we could have got Angsty scenes too.

But right now, I just can't foresee the story ahead. I am tired of scratching my head. Can someone please tell me what do going on in Gul's head?

For now, I just want NB exposed. I am totally D.O.N.E with Mrs. Kapoor and her daughters pukeworthy presence. And that might solve something, or at least pinky no hi akal aa jayegi. Btw, what happened to the PI of Shivay?? Was he hired? Did he find anything?

Also, Dadi and Pinky were Pakau.🥱

Hope I made sense. Lol.😆

P.S.- Someone please tell me if the new article about Sumo and not Romi being the 3rd KapSis is not true?!! Mujhe chakkar a rahe hai subah as yeh soch kar. This is so ridiculous. I don't want Sumo to be butchered. :(

Same here, episodes on their own are fine. But, continuity is an issue. I saw some OLV, Shivaay's flirty behaviour with Tia 😆 Guess we can enjoy that cause at the time of Daksh it became all dark. Until this memory loss is cleared up, I think I won't completely enjoy the episodes but meh.🤔 And good lord Annika's new outfit, I'm amused at the creativity🤣

Great discussion and analysis, really enjoyed reading everyone's take on the episode.

I feel the questioning by Annika definitely would've been more effective if this memory loss mess wasn't happening, I totally agree with you that the writer's need to buck up. We get scenes of Shivika but then there is no follow up sometimes, which dilutes everything.

And yes NM and SC have great chemistry, and one can see there is comfort with them as well, they work well together 😳 Even with SaRun, they were great, but onscreen even they had lost it in between for me, after marriage or rather holi, I had found Khushi really annoying. This is how I feel about Kalavati😆 Essentially its all about writing, so writers need to get their act together. And since IB is more Shivaay Annika focused now, they should prioritize their storyline. But I am still hopeful with them, cause we randomly get really good scenes, small joys😊

LOL these must be the same "ghar ke log" that showed up at Lohri also...some strange subset that apparently doesn't take Tia as his wife publicly and is fine with him doing rituals with Anika😆

The outside junta not only thinks Shitia are already married, they also think that Shivaay is the father of the baby😆
