Firstly, what a brilliant post.
And yes, this was the episode I have been waiting for since the 'reception' and I am glad it played out this way. No ranting, raving, emotional blackmail - the very classy and in-control Annika. That is what i love about this woman and why I adore her.
I have heard so much ranting against Annika being a doormat and sometimes light heartedly partook in pulling up her character but I never once believed that the 'Old Self-Respecting and Proud' Annika was dead. One's foundations that are based on good qualities never vanish - they may take a back seat sometimes while something else takes precedence but they never disappear.
This is a good post for all who called Annika a 'Doormat' - Thank you for making this😊

She has almost shoved 'Dushyant's' clue and relationship with Tia down this throat and thrown it in his face but I have not seen (unless he is working on it on a quiet) any reaction from him to work on this lead. Why??? Is it because he has given up and accepted defeat or does he truly from his heart want a 'warris' with NKK and not a 'love child' as his first born? Why is Shivvay not fighting to clear the doubt about the child's paternity?
She is his responsibility, she is important to him and he is willing to walk out on the one thing that has mattered more to him in life than 'his life' itself - Family. Why? If anyone dishonors her or her name they now dishonor Shivvay. Why? Why is her honor attached to his now? And if it is then he is dishonoring her himself by not honoring her as his 'wife'. He is the cause of her dishonor and her insults, not anyone else because he refuses to honor her with the title that comes with the relationship of marriage.
He suffers from 'severe separation anxiety' and I remember saying this over and over again in almost every post that Annika would be the one to walk out on him one day and Shivvay is going to go through some major depression and trauma because of that. And time and again it was said that Shivvay would throw her out and I would laugh.
I never once believed that he was going to throw her out - not when she is the very air her breathes and the one thing that gives his empty life meaning and colour. You do not rip off the oxygen mask that is keeping you alive now, do you??
Annika will and can live without Shivvay and not because she is unfeeling or does not love him but because she has always come to understand that because of his NKK they never really stood a chance of a future together. So she is geared and has already prepared for this day. Shivvay has not. He never imagined she would ever leave him and has been living a 'Fairytale' that is fast changing into his worse 'Horror Story'
The main difference in their dealing with separation lies in their pasts.
Shivvay has never, till date, ever lost a Family member let alone the one he loves the most whereas Annika has dealt with loss of loved ones from a very young age and is emotionally more resilient and stronger than Shivvay.
She is actually the 'colder' of the two when it comes to emotions, not Shivvay. To be cold to a strangers pain and loss is easier than to be cold to the pain and loss of a loved one.
Asking her to arrange his marriage is going to be the biggest mistake this man has made. It is going to back fire on him and make him go insane watching her do it in a detached and unemotional way. She already went through this once and has complete control over her emotions this time around.
Be ready for major fireworks from Bhagad Billa while he loses his last wall holding up NKK
