Hi,,first of all thank you...it's such a beautiful post...

I read through all the comments over here and it absolutely matched with what I thought about Annika...

Shivaay is already a gone case for me...his believes and amoral system is something that made me skip watching the episodes till now...

But... but... Annika...she is a complete puzzle... U know after the wedding I was completely disappointed with her...I thought she would react now...Daksh incident came...I said yes the girl will take a stand for herself...well nothing happened. Instead I found her playing "I challenge you" with Shivaay...

I couldn't get why a girl would act like that even after knowing , suffering , and taking all shit...for an orphan like her I guess I over expected that she would have her defences high...that was wrong...

Well first I thought okay this is Gul and her trp plotline so forget logic in it ...watched only scenes that were mentioned nice or hot or worthwhile to watch...and then I watched their cute sa romantic sa scene...and of course I was happy but along with it I couldn't digest it...i felt like asking Shivaay "what are you doing to that girl?"

That and ur post was the exact reason that I realized that Annika is completely nave and innocent...

U know that scene when Shivaay first entered his room after that ridiculous marriage ...he said WHAT A MESS?

I felt like slapping him...yes she is still only a mess ...a mess that he seems to like but would want to dust it off as soon as possible...and Annika she knows that she doesn't have any place in his life... but doesn't know the extent of his belief and perspective...and the real substance that he is of...( that man is completely monetary and business minded)..till now she thinks it's just his ego or attitude but no its mixed in his blood ,soul and breath...and to detoxify him of that poison ..it is a long journey...

She still has to realize that the so called family , the so called husband were all conveniently using her and for this I guess as you mentioned Prinku's forced marriage will help...more than Shivaay Annika will realize the hypocrisy this so called family has...

As far as I know...she didn't' have any hopes of this marriage ...but she was somewhere deep down expecting to be accepted or be part of this family or expecting the family like her to make the best out if a situation...( like how normal people would do) she never expected or might not be expecting this family not to ,except for maybe OMru,... include her in..coz eventually people accept relationships...that's a normal thought...right?

Never experienced true love or care from someone so she believes that whatever she is getting now is right...she will realize the stark contrast of how a truly loved person would be treated when Priyanka s forced marriage ( if it happens) comes out...

She will see the same Dadi going crazy and protecting her granddaughter and refusing to send Prinku to such a state...All MS Sindoor jaap washed off...

She will see Shivaay... literally wanting to tear down ACP for this...whatever nonsense he said and did will then strike her...like a reality check...like how for him it is justifiable and doing it to Annika was no matter at all...

She will see OMRu s re action ...realizing that she being helpless and alone was given a momentary break to play with that fanciful toy of belongingness' coz both brothers won't sit quiet..

She will see Tej and Jhanvi...literally preaching human rights...and then will see how violated she was...

Shakti and Pinky...most probably Pinky giving a lecture to ACP about dignity, honour and all...and then Annika will realize.. that what Shivaay did was honourable thing for Pinky ( she will make it like that I'm sure...she was just waiting for an opportunity to blame Annika and she got it after Daksh...)because he did to save his family and that too to some Annika not an Oberoi or Kapoor...so it doesn't count...

AND she will See Priyanka...a lady who will not bend or most probably not left to bend by family ...( hopefully ..my wish okay)..and realize how much she lost because she kept quiet and loved these hypocrites...

She will see a family reacting to an exact same situation as hers in a completely different manner...and then...

More than the Oberois she would feel anger towards her own self...and that would be the perfect instance to leave the so called marriage..

She needs to see that she is wife only underneath the ghunghat, only inside four walls, only when her so called husband feels like he should make her learn what Blush' means...

I felt sorry for her...coz she is actually innocent and knows that somebody's intention is wrong only when it hits her face...All the phrases that I know this , I am this etc' is just her show...to remain happy and confident...it never was true...she literally knows nothing...she knows to survive with whatever she has...and that is it...

And when she does so ...she would react in the most beautiful manner no glass breaking no challenges just silence...or maybe none of these and Gul will surprise me making me believe wrong wins and right fails..

She should realize that she gave everything her self-respect, love , rights everything to a family and a man who were not worth it...and when you realize how low the other party is , any matured and practical and righteous person would leave them ,completely broken over the fact that' I gave everything to something which was not worth it'. This transformation of Annika is what I think these tracks should bring...the literally growing out of school phase...

This phase will break her heart, soul and confidence but though nave she is not a person who gives up,...I hope she will pick up all the pieces of her and create something so beautiful and strong that not even SSO can break it ,and to open it ,he will have to win thousands of wars...to even catch a glimpse of that golden heart...

I know many have said don't relate to Annika...she is just a character and let her do what she wants to do...all of it is right ..but I can't ...it's like ur seeing someone intentionally hurting themselves...and then realizing u can't do anything about it unless that person decides to do it...( well too much of emotional attachment)

From my part I am solely waiting for Annika's realization than Shivaay's ..coz Shivaay's will begin only when Annika realizes...the contrast of being a named person and being an orphan..

This is a long phase by then the whole family would realize the importance of truth, love , sacrifice etc,,coz Annika by her true nature would effect everyone's life...and when she leaves. The whole family will repent...for me the first belief of the Family not only Shivaay is that of Name , money and fame ...if you have noticed Tej and Shakti are in a constant competition of winning the first place

Annika their first bahu will bring reality check to it...and hence she has to affect every single person of the family...

The other bhaus will follow in order breaking all the nonsense beliefs and perspectives of this family...

I don't know if what I said will work or it could just be my imagination but...phew.. I had to rant and thank you so much Navin for giving me the absolute opportunity through your post...
