Loved Saumya and Rudra's confrontation and conversation. I have not read too many stories on the pair and so am really enjoying this uncovering of the layers in Saumya's character. Can't wait for you to really delve into those two souls.

Pinky Aunty's hand in packing Anika's case makes its presence felt once again. So Shivay has gone all proprietorial on Anika now. Wonder what will happen to put him in his place. He really needs to be taught a lesson.

Thank you so much for the wonderful update. Your note at the end of the update has got me really excited though. The promise of a dark angsty take on these characters will be fantastic! Desperately want to see Shivay's arrogance hit the dust.

Aah, yes, the reformed vampire! Loved reading fantasy novels when I was a bit younger, Pratchett was a favourite 😃

Not saying anything about the eavsdropper - you'll be getting more hints in the next updates!

I love angst, omg! Even my humour stories end up with bits of angst, so there will definitely be some angsty subplots in this story. As for Shivaay's arrogance, don't we all?

To be honest, the current ShivIka equation isn't really my favourite. I'm in the midst of writing a bit of a rant post actually, because they're kind of putting me off. They keep fluctuating between intense romance and misunderstandings, and their original premise has been all but deserted. I loved the idea of an equilibrium between passion and understanding, but at the moment, even the cliched rescue scenes aren't really appealing to me. The recent Annika-hanging-of-a-tree-rescue scene only served to make me feel a bit queasy, rather than feel any form of compassion, let alone be affected as much as I was during the Janmastami episode rescue. These things just don't seem to be thought out anymore, so I really hope CVs will up their game soon.

I love the first half for the sheer innocence of RuMya's relationship. Even if she is angry with him, the fear of losing his faith kills Saumya from inside. Such a beautiful relationship. Relate so hard with the tea - I'm absolutely obsessed!

And yes, I love RumYa's relationship. It's just so beautiful, and it lacks all of the brutality that ShivIka, and IshKara (when they existed) have. Spot on with their own will being their hindrance - in a lot of ways, I think them being able to overcome this will be a sight to take in. Unlike Shivaay with his NKK, and Annika with her lack of the aforementioned, the only thing stopping Rudra and Saumya is their own will, or lack there of.

I'm so glad you liked the bathroom scene. I was worried that it was going to be a bit too much, but super pleased that it didn't end up like that!

Yes, in the later updates, Annika and Shivaay will fight about NKK. So let us use our writing as a temporary reprieve for all of the crap that will fall on ShivIka sooner or later. Honestly, I wish we saw Anni challenge him about his NKK belief system these days, like a more intense version of that one time (after Shivaay proposed to Tia) that she yelled at him, about the dividing line between them, that is their class.

As for who the person was, you'll get more clues about that soon!

Firstly a big sorry for being super late in commenting!! And that was another fun chapter with some very interesting moments in between I guess!😆

Poor Shivaay!! I so get him!! Being a diehard coffee addict myself, I can so relate to getting extremely irritated without my normal cup in the morning to kick start my system!! The girls are resorting to all these kiddish [pranks now but I don't blame them!! We all do funny things when we are hurt!!

But I kind of expected Rumya to eventually become a team, not that I ever doubted Saumya's loyalty towards Ani...It's just that both of them ship Shivika too much to actually do something to drive a wedge between them! And I love it that they temporarily made up!! I hope they address the big elephant that they are conveniently avoiding now later with hopefully some good advice from their bade bhaiyya and their bhabhi later on though!!

The Shivika bathroom escapades were something elseI tell you!!☺️ Pinky scored some points there with Shivaay openly appreciating Ani!( And Pinky's advice!! My God, she's crazy!! I could almost see Ani's cheeks turning crimson in my head!!) Poor Ani, she was so adorably flustered!! I am laughing thinking of her reaction if she ever comes to know what exactly was going on in her hubby's mind!! Its funny because with all the seduction techniques that the Oberoi brothers planned, its accidental ones like these which seem to work the most!!😆

Do continue soonish love!! And a special thanks for clarifying my queries on Shivayy's thoughts on NKK!!

I just caught up with this story...what a brilliant read...and truly a break form all the drama of the show these days. I love the simplicity with which you write...yet you express some of the most complex emotions and confusions that both of these couples are going thru...brilliant. I am really feeling bad for Shivvay...given that you have already given us readers insight into Annika's true sentiment and her intention to forgive him...bechara kitne papad bel haha hai!! And the Bathroom scene...what to say ...he was so soloist...and really needed to reign himself in...poor guy...how hard it must have been for him to ask her to let him go. Loving the dynamics between both the couples, as well as the friends!! Please update soon...looking forward to the next part!!
