Seriously...has anyone here heard of the word called analogy?

If you have a man who is charitable...he is called Karna ke jaisa. If he is pious and righteous..we call him Ram jaisa. If there is a naughty child...we call him Krishna. These are analogies which we use on a day to day basis.

Obviously we are going to be referencing the Ramayana here because the show made a mention of it in the promo...the Vanvaas being an indicator. And considering that the show is about a family which is undergoing a power struggle...with Tej and Pinky wanting to usurp power for their own sons like Kaikeyi.. this comparison is very much apt.

No one here is calling Shivaay Lord Ram...his situation is analogous to the epic because he is the eldest son of the family. And in this story...he is supposed to be that...embodying how like Lord Ram he is striving to maintain fraternal unity.

And please don't use expressions like "Our God"...it makes me cringe. Indians are fed on these mythological tales irrespective of religion...these are common idioms and reference points which are known to all..irrespective of religion. And before you ask me..I'm a Hindu too...and I was not offended by this.

I know the meaning of analogy but why Ram n not Ravan (he was the eldest too)
