That little pause, shivaay seems to have touched her cheek without realizing what he was doing and as if that touch just made it all real for him, that she was here, hurting, stabilizing his restlessness.. just taking it all in while he let all his frustration out.

He couldn't bare to look into her eyes either.. but was too far gone to show his hurt anymore.

I think he was as shocked by what he had said as she was, that second to last gif, the way his eyes widened.. took her in, like you said. And then snap, the shield was back in place...
his defences are easily broken but hers will take some time now for him to breach.. i doubt he'll be able to so easily as she breaches his

Waise this seems to be the first time Shivaay has touched her face like this, at least the only instance I remember. There were a couple of tucking-her-hair-back scenes but don't really recall ever seeing him hold her cheek like this, very naturally too, as if he had a right to. The wonders of sindoor and mangalsutra I suppose. 😆

@bold: Word...especially the point you made about her just taking it all in...that is what I found intriguing to watch too...says a lot about her personality, their dynamic...that she has this ability to take in everything he lets out even as she expresses her hurt...but there will be these moments of silent communication wherein she will hear all that he doesn't say...and somehow just know when she needs to let him get it all out...I was just fascinated by how she was in a way holding him simply with her eyes...her eyes were making him come undone even further.

Re: her defenses being harder to breach...LOL I would love to be surprised...but we all know how quickly she goes pighlu over him...all it will take is him doing one nice thing for Sahil and this girl will melt...badi se badi baat ke baad bhi she manages to put her own hurt aside everytime...dunno how.

I remember this one scene where Shivaay was drugged and they had the 'hum dono ke beech wala convo', their eyes, never broke eye contact throughout that convo and it was impactful DESPITE nakuul's dialogue delivery.

@italic: she has that thing that Shivaay doesn't have or represses: forgiveness. She still believes in kindness, HIS kindness. And that's what makes her so resilient and sadly, that much misunderstood as well. There's such a difference between being patient with someone, and being a doormat. I think Surbhi makes Anika a distinguished FL because she's able to maintain her qualities of kindness, acceptance, and compassion.

also m still having a hard time digesting that a freak like daksh is supposed to be shivaay's bachpan ka close friend say what? please explain billu Ji? and dadi also claimed that he grew up in front of them yet they have more effing idea about how disgusting he is. mujhe to uske vibes itne gande lage ke kia boloon esp when he was trying to be over friendly with Anika. mich michi aayi bohat zyada. Anika ko kaise nahi aayi uske saath ek frame main Khade hoke yuck. LOL we all wondered about this when he first showed up too...he was creeping on Anika since day one, heck, he had more or less shown his weirdo paagal side to Shivaay anyways by pretending to commit suicide if Shivaay doesn't ask Anika to marry Daksh...usne openly Shivaay ke saamne Anika ko leke apne cheap intentions discuss kiye, uske baad bhi woh Shivaay ka friend hi tha...Shivaay didn't kick him out of the house😆...so storyline convenience ke liye, Shivaay ke saare friends, social circle waale log psycho hi nikalte hain😆
