But your analogy is totally bang on...NKK is his security blanket whenever he feels unsure about stuff, whenever he feels off-balance...NKK is the only philosophy that helps "rationalize" things for him...where he feels he will always win.

I was pleasantly surprised to see *some* kind of build-up to Shivaay's outburst; usually they manufacture these situations in such a contrived fashion that it legit shocks me when they take the trouble to build some kind of emotional momentum, that too over three episodes. Am all for the Shivaay-Saahil cute, so thoroughly sick of the lameass OBros hugs and dances and if they don't have anything substantial to give them, I'd rather watch Shivaay trying to win over Saahil and OmRu doting over their Bhabhi. Agreed...Shivaay-Sahil's dynamic has more genuine warmth to it...the kid actor and Nakul seem to have pretty good chemistry together...would love to see more of their scenes...and OmRu + Bhabhi toh are already a hit trio.

LOOOL they killed off poor Robin? And didn't even give the poor guy the dignity of being called by his real name after his death. Such a tragedy. 😆 I love how there's a murder/kidnapping/stalking/general criminal activity going on ALL the time in this show and everyone just takes it in stride...would put Marvel/DC plotlines to shame with all the high voltage ekshun. 😆 LOL IB "plotlines" are in a league of their own, man...yeh toh bade bade plotlines ko COMPLEX de dein😛😆😆

Re: today's charged confrontation, good acting by both Nakul and Surbhi; I felt for both of them even though Shivaay was spewing such venom and without any justifiable right too. It's all about the unexpressed but sky-high expectations that these two have from each other, especially Shivaay, and whenever that takes a hit, extreme reactions occur. I was cringing a bit at all the heavy duty neelami and character dialogues and like you, wanted to see more anger from her, but yeah I guess it will come later, hopefully. Anika was clearly thrown by her shock and hurt today because his accusations literally came out of nowhere. Shivaay toh, I am convinced that all the indigestion in this man's body occurs in his brain...that would explain the utter SHIT he spews when he bursts out at her. I'd understand his disgust and hurt at whatever he'd seen, but how he reached the conclusion that she had LIED to him and BETRAYED and WRONGED him is truly CLASSIC Billu-level baddhazmi. 😆 LOL Billu is on his own trip always...koi logic nahin hota iski baaton mein...and instead of questioning his senseless accusations, Anika was more thrown off that he could even think like this...lol even after all this time, she has'nt learnt ki Billu kuch bhi soch sakta hai, kuch bhi bol sakta hai😆

Anyway, good to see they are not dragging it out, and hopefully this will be ONE track they will be able to milk some emotional payback out of...Anika toh zyada self-respect dikhakar kahin aur jaane se rahi in her current TRP-superbahu avatar, so at least make Billu grovel good for a sustained period.

This Daksh, ugh. OFF karo isse, so much cringe. I was so hoping the writers had forgotten about him like Anika had forgotten about her own engagement. 😆 LOL they've brought him back as an even bigger psycho...chalo hopefully this will be the end of this track and if they have any sense, they would milk the emotional fallout from this for Shivaay-Anika...let's see how it goes.

You know, in those posts I'd written during that phase when he kept calling her beautiful, and thinking it, especially that frame-scene?

I said the same thing, Shivaay has put her on this pedestal and he's going to be shattered and inevitably shatter her when she falls from it in his eyes.

Both Shivaay and Anika need to find some balance in their thoughts for each other, but the way they have reacted to one another has been through extremes so I guess we do need some kind of stability as well..thehraav if you will (which I shan't expect or hope for, but it'd be nice to have it😆)

At this point, like you said, there is an elemental quality about their confrontations with neither of them in control of their emotions or actions; they just react to each other. As always, it's completely ABOUT each other.

When someone asks you to check your privilege, it's a polite way of saying get off your high horse; Anika pushes Shivaay to BE someone else, she constantly questions his identity and makes him think about the person he CAN be outside of his last name, his family, and everything else. I think every time she calls him Shivaay, it's like a reminder. A version 2, an identity only SHE can bring out in him, arrogance, foolishness, ego, humour, and kindness all combined in this one figure. He represses his feelings so much out of protectiveness towards his family, his brothers. With her, the way she pushes his buttons, he can't help but express himself...imagine how light it makes him...and once he tries to get rid of his ego, kitna light feel karega billu? Word...haha kitna light feel karega, Billu? Phir toh UDNE hi lagega...flying Billu ho jaayega woh🤣

But jokes apart, yes...she does push him to think of his identity beyond this world he's built for himself around his last name, his family, wealth and society stature...she pushes him to look for a Shivaay that exists beyond all this...and that is too terrifying a notion for a guy who generally lives on repressing himself😆

It's like he keeps building this wall, brick by brick, from the biggest sort of blocks he can find, and covers it up with shards of glass so that no one can climb over, and then anika backdoor entry maar leti hai and he's confused, fascinated, and sorta glad he doesn't need to be lonely in his job (to be the protector) LOLL@ Anika backdoor entry maar leti hai...haha so true...none of his walls deter her...she is one determined little thing😆...and he both resents her for managing to cut through all his defense mechanisms and relies on her to stand with him too...
