A bit of a watershed moment b/w Shivaay-Anika today...a long awaited confrontation on this ugly MU that has been festering between them without Anika even being privy to the details...

What struck me the most though was how much both of them unintentionally revealed what they think about each other...especially Shivaay.

1) Right off the bat, Shivaay makes the declaration that he will always trust Tia because one girl has already broken his TRUST😆...and Anika doesn't even have a DOUBT for a second that that girl is HER😆...neither of them pause to question the fact that Shivaay said he trusted Anika? The girl he claims has no significance in his life? 😆

2) Shivaay actually in a roundabout way said that he thinks Anika is duniya ki sabse bholi aur achhi ladki hai😆😆...any other day, Anika would be either tongue-tied over a compliment from Billu or be all smug about it😆...waise thoda socha jaaye...Shivaay thinks Anika is bholi? Most of the time toh he is grumbling about her so called "badtameezi"😛...but underneath all that he is charmed by her innocence?😆

3) Anika's determination to know the truth today was truly commendable...the way she tenaciously prevented him from leaving by grabbing on to his kalaayi😆...and the way Shivaay flicked off her hand in full metrosexual tashan😆

4) Kal kuch logon ko shikaayat thi that Shivaay ko itni badi baat bolne se pehle sharam nahin aayi😆...arey aayi na...usne bahut avoid kiya bolna...but finally burst out with it...in BOTH English and Hindi😛😆...

5) Anika seemed kinda frozen in disbelief and hurt initially...asking him again and again that he thinks she can do this? That he thinks she's such a giri hui ladki? And Shivaay goes on a full rant explaining why he is convinced he knows her ugly truth now...it is only when he starts talking about her taking money for this that Anika seems to come out of her frozen state a bit and tries to retort with a slap.

Shivaay's "Dobara Nahin" as he blocks her slap😆...haan bhai, pichhli baar Anika ka thappad padaa tha toh SHAADI ho gayi thi...who knows what he'd have done agar is baar thappad khaa leta😆

6) Anika saying that nothing he's done before this has BROKEN her but she is broken today because he neelamo-fied her izzat...lol I'm sorry but this bit felt kinda flat to me...made me laugh unintentionally cuz I find it a bit hard to believe that she feels more shattered today than the wedding day which was kinda the ultimate in horrifying scenarios...and she didn't look as broken as she did on the wedding day either...Feel like the dialogues should have been more about what a ghatiya soch Shivaay has but they turned the whole thing around into Anika being wounded by his accusations.

7) The interesting bit was after this though...as Shivaay actually tells her that even though he believed that everything comes with a price, he wanted HER to prove him WRONG😆...and he never thought that being proven right would give him DIL PE CHOT😆...waah beta Shivaay, tumhein Anika ki wajah se DIL mein kuch feel hua?😛😆

8) The very last bit where he can't help himself from reaching out and cupping her cheek even as he talks about how use uski shakal, uske khayaal se bhi nafrat hai...his warring emotions there...and his strong declarations of how much he hates her...agar OmRu hote toh bolte SSO and STRONG emotions for a girl in the same sentence?😆

Anika's central reaction seemed to be one of hurt...I had expected her to show more anger...perhaps that will come later.

But they clearly showed to each other today how deeply they impact each other...he showed her how she has the power to hurt his heart...and she showed him how much he had the power to shatter her when he thinks so lowly of her...neither of them bothered to look for the SOURCE of that hurt between them...as if it is a foregone conclusion😆

Rest of the epi was😆...I don't understand how Anika landed up in her old house...as usual they don't seem to think any explanations are necessary even after they showed Shivaay declaring the house being sold off two days back😆...and then Daksh ka faaltu ka psycho drama...I forwarded most of it...saw him showing the creepy doll to Anika😕😆...oh and chalo atleast ANIKA managed to give him one tight SLAP👏😆...cuz he dared to smash Sahil ka phonecall 😆.

Beech mein Billu introspecting about why HE's feeling so bad even though she's the one who did all the wrong stuff😆...Billu trying to get a grip on himself is always amusing to me😆

Precap: Kidnap + the long awaited reveal from Soumya to Billu😆...looking forward to Billu ki facepalming...aaj KAAFI kuch bola hai isne to haunt himself with😆

YAY your post and I can finally comment on TIME. Aur scene bhi aisa grand-reveal wala tha😆👏

I agree with what you said about their revelations..Was thinking of making a post but then I thought, nah, AY hai na😆 mujhe toh kaafi laafein padh jaayenge anyway if I try. I was quite intrigued by the hurt rather than anger that was in Anika's eyes, and the disbelief in Shivaay's.

He was unable to actually SAY he hates her, wasn't he?

What I really liked was the conversation they did have. She was too shocked to even ask him what he meant, and he didn't give a chance. It was as if, woh aaj nahi bolta toh bol nahi paata types.

I'm glad he let all of these festering emotions and accusations out, including that important one.

He wanted her to stand up to him, always. He admires that the most about her, and her tenacity, her strength, and when she said she's been broken by his words, I genuinely didn't feel it.

I mean, pehle bhi toh bola tha wedding time par, ab toh bas specific ho gaya.

And post that, their feelings haven't really GROWN for each other, have they? Or the rituals REALLY work?😆😆😆

No, I thought it was very melodramatic when she said she's been broken, but I liked the izzat neelam ho gayi bit. I think that's coz, during the whole gayatri murder thing when she protected Shivaay, she really said she didn't give two hoots about the world and what it thought of her, but yes, she revealed how important Shivaay is and the amount it matters to her if he thinks badly of her.

For Shivaay also, flow mein bolta chala gaya. He revealed KITNA FARQ padhta hai when he talked about how his heart hurt! 👏👏

In his case, I hope that doesn't happen LITERALLY, seeing his condition. But, yeah, I totally agree with you when you said watershed moment tha this confrontation because of the things they took for granted, or for some reason did not focus on, or just accepted simply.

Shivaay did not hide his anger, his displeasure, his hurt. And neither did Anika.

I think at this moment, the walls did go down.

It wasn't the ruthless anger we saw (well, you laughed at😆) in the pre-wedding sequence, but rather, frustrated rage that just couldn't find an outlet.

Him feeling bad afterwards, and still trying to convince himself was sweet and so typically him😆

Thank god that thing will end.

I couldn't watch the Daksh-Anika scene. There was too much screaming and hair pulling and horrible acting in the case of that guy.

But that slap👏👏👏

Shivaay not getitng angry at Sahil was a good thing too, he usually used to..but I guess ab equation change hone wali hai😆😉

All in all, I found the Shivika scene the only one worth the watch, and the way he touched her cheek, it was not forceful at all but pretty gentle.

Phew, baaki toh I guess I've just repeated what you said in a haphazard manner😆

Awesome analysis AY 😊 This scene was very well executed! And characters ke reactions to the point 😆

I will again like to apologize to the dialogue writers 😳.. Aisa laga inhone mera post padha - SSO ko sharam bhi aayi and usne english mein hi bola 😆(Hindi translation for Anika's benefit😊)

"Bholi Si Surat, Ankhoon mein masti, door khadi sharmai, Aye Hai" Shivaay Babu, yeh Bhola bolna toh hamne expect nahi kiya tha 😆.. Acha toh tum pehle hi bol chuke ho - "You are just too nice" 😆

Anika ne dil kush kiya aaj.. "Shivaay you have to tell me.. Matlab have to tell!!" Go Anika!! 👏 Yeh Paheli aise hi solve hogi 😆

Today he broke her trust 😭 Anika still trusted him.. 😭 That 'sunaar-wali' baat was what hurt her the most 😭

Waise Yeh dono hi Anika ke engagement ke baare mein bilkul bhol gaye hai!! 😆

"The Doobara Nahi" was perfect!👏 Character mein the dono! 😊

7) Now, that he has verbalized all this, it is time for SSO to start accepting - 'Pharak Padhta hai 😊

8) The face cupping bit was 👏! The Conflict - Disgust and Desire 😊

I liked this scene a lot!! Pleasant surprise..😊 Well Done Team!

These two know that the other understand them.. Aaj bas verbalize kiya "Dil ki baatoon" ko

A special mention to the 'awehsome' acting!! Well Done NaRbhi! 👏👏 Give them good scenes and they just hit the ball out of the park!! Every single time! 😊

As you said, no explanation.. Bas ab Anika change karke apne ghar pahuch gayi and Daksh ke entry.. But this is IB style.. 😆

SC is brilliant in this scene 👏 I was watching this scene with my eyes half closed.. 😭

Daksh 😡 and I still don't like this actor! 😆 But he was not that bad.. Kafi OTT but tolerable tha.. But it was SC who added the spark in the scene.. Her reactions.. Uff 😭😭

LOL no mention about the Tia ka track - Tia and Mrs. Kapoor ka discussion and the 'brilliant' acting!! 🤣 WHY WHY WHY!! Bechara Robin - aaj uspe taras aaya, he deserved better 😭

AY, Did you skip the solo SSO scene and the Sahil-SSO conversation?

I liked these scene a lot 👏 Another scene where SSO was soo-soo in character.. 😊 Emphasized the conflict between his head and heart ..

Shivaay: "Royi Woh but Takleef yahan hue(pointing at his heart) - Sambhal Apne Aapko Shivaay" 😳

Sahil comes and asks him about his Anika Didi 😆 "Mein Kya Karoon.. Itni Chinta Ho rahi hai toh Phone Karo usse"😆

Anika mast tamache marti hai😊 but in this case she should have been smarter which she was in between.. Where she tried to interact with Daksh normally.. But she is smart.. Woh bhag toh jayegi, kyonki kidnapping toh OM ke angaan - SSO ke peeth ke peeche se hone wali hai.. 😆

Like I said , your analysis is always fun to read...

The first part of the epi was good for me...I am kind of very partial to Ani so was all moved by her heart break and her confession that he broke her and also pleasantly surprised by the way he talked about his stone dil pe chot and the way her crying made him feel bad...

The rest of the epi had me laughing!! I had posted on the HS too that I was busy burning the logical part of my brain with Robin's body in the jungle. Poor guy!! Died in vain and his death is not even acknowledged by anyone, including the police And Tia somehow managed to conduct a funeral after dragging a body out of the pool in a resort and transport it with no one seeing!! Must be a hell of a shady resort!! Hotel Sun Part 2 with pool included!!

And all those years of torture has finally addled her brain and made her blame Ani for her hubby's death!! And wonder how they are going to break the news to the Oberois? That Robin has gone for 'higher' studies abroad??

Daksh was creepy and wierd! And I am scared of what he will do after that slap! I am still having trouble digesting all the events that took place the last time that she slapped someone!! And seems like everyone in IB has a life time supply of spycams everywhere...on dolls, on Khanna's collar button to record his boss's doings and in hotel dressing rooms...Its just plain wierd!!

So finally Shivaay learns the truth from Soumya!! I wanted to smack him on the head when he again asked 'poori rath'?!! Seriously, after all this if they show Ani forgiving him immediately, I will be seriously disappointed...sigh, who am I kidding!! I will still continue to watch!

This was the kind of scene you and I talk about sometimes...jahaan there is so much subtext to discuss...rarely toh milte hain humein aise scenes is show mein😆

You're right, he wasn't able to say the actual "I hate YOU" to her...lol he managed to say he hates her face, he hates the thought of her...but couldn't complete it beyond that. ...

I got the sense that he was more determined to convince HIMSELF than her in this scene...each time she'd ask him, "Aap mere baare mein aisa sochte hain", he'd make these declarative statements in his typical Shivaay way as if he needs to convince himself of the worst cuz he saw it with his own eyes...even as he so desperately wants it to be wrong, but to her, he has to declare this as the ultimate truth...he has to show CONTEMPT to hide the shattering pain inside...cuz the only other reaction he'd have for her would be hurt filled tears and that he obviously can't show her...lol even if he unwittingly manages to let it slip out with his words how much she's hurt his heart...

Like you said, woh sab flow mein bolta chala gaya...he's bottled it up inside for so long...jab nikla toh bahut kuch nikla...all the ugliness as well as the few truths that he's been hiding from himself also about the impact she has on his heart...the amount of trust he'd bestowed on her.

And Anika...yes, I agree about the izzat neelam ho gayi part...in the Gayatri murder alibi situation, as you said, she didn't care what the WORLD thought...her and Shivaay knew the truth, that was enough for her...but when HE thinks lowly of her, it shatters her...it shouldn't,...on a logical basis, she'd probably argue with herself for it...but she can't seem to help herself from feeling hurt when he does that...just like her opinion matters deeply to him, his has started to matter that deeply to her too...they can fight and call each other all sorts of things but beyond the fun and games, when they feel the other has let them down genuinely, they are totally shattered.

I liked the charge in the scene...the thappad attempt and blockage was nicely done...lol despite the distracting kadaas.

Track ka toh pata nahin but aaj ka scene was really good...

IT was an emotional scene between Shivika and Anika...when she displayed her hurt and betrayal yet again was portrayed well. Could feel her pain his accusations wrought in her.

She persevered and got her heart broken again for the umpteenth time but this time it will be hard for her to let go of his hateful words. Shivaay going on about how she deceived him.. was a tad too much.. but as you wrote she does affect him deeply and that came out. IT will be interesting how they progress post this 'watershed' moment. Both of them rely and jatao haq on each other, have accepted their marriage at some level but have not acknowledged their feelings for the other, trying to hide that under the guise of 'family'.

Shivaay baby has a long way to go and has to grovel and plead with Anika. She has already begun the silent treatment (the best) and it will be a daunting task for SSO to make Mrs.SSO even look at him. HE might join hands with his saala Sahil to manao Anika.. that will be something to look forward to.

The pyscho... bits.. was difficult to watch and to see Anika cry.. with fear and disbelief... was well done by Surbhi. But she displayed her spirit... hats off again.. to Surbhi.. hope to see how she came back to her old house. too many loopholes..gaps.. and as for Reiki... uff... now she is going to move bag and baggage into OM.

This might probably be the last time he calls her a middle class girl or are there any more shocks in store for us? Loved the cute scene between Sahil and SSO. Waiting to see Rudy/Sumo/Sahil scene where Rudy has already noticed that Sahil wants to talk only to his Sumo. missing RUmya scenes.

Oh haha I totally forgot to talk about Robin ka ANTIM SANSKAAR🤣...another super LULZY moment...as you said, Tia aaraam se managed to drag his dead body out and do his last rites in some random sunsaan jungle mazey se😆...chalo ab Tia ko full on serious motivation mil gaya Anika se badla lene ke liye...that is all this contrived b.s. was for anyways...might as well resign ourselves to it😆...I doubt anyone in the Oberoi house even remembers Robin existed😆

LOL arey Shivaay had to ask "Puri raat" to get full context...ab agar Soumya was just hanging around with Anika in the morning toh that wouldn't have cleared his MU na...I really don't care how it happens...just want to see his face when he realizes the epic level of raaita he's faailaaoed😆

I think someone phone called Anika thats why she came to her old house.

I just can't watch Daksh-Anika part today. Awaiting for Monday...finally SSO going to get big slap on his face and thinking abilities.
