Yayy, I am first! What a lovely chapter. Shivaay gazing at Anika lovingly, the michmichi he has regarding Tia...his decision to involve OmRu...lovely.

Great update dear.

Confession to Omru is good for the soul.

Am just skeptical how they will regard the ONS MU.

Frankly, still don't understand how it affects him what she does with whom.

Hope they question him...or Rudy goes...Bhaiya you are jealous ...and you call me duffer oberio.

Dadi can feel the winds if change.

At some extent Tia too...hee hee.

Gadha gets michimichi. ..but still thinks why how Tia...promise etc.

This has always been my take on the ONS MU and I may be wrong but that is the only way I can justify his behaviour and reaction to it. Sorry if I have ranted on ... lol

This is pre marriage:
Shivvay had always met people from her standing and class who he had been able to buy with either money, intimidate with power or outrank with class and status.
Then he met Annika who broke all those previously held notions and he began to respect and admire her. He threw every challenge he could at her and she always came out strong and his notions began to change. As Om pointed out to him - Annika's opinion of him and thoughts about him began to matter. He held her in high esteem and we even saw those moments at the Ganapati Visarjan etc.
That is the time Tia took the back seat and everything was Annika even to the point where for Karva Chauth he had no issues letting the whole room know that Annika was more valuable to him and his family than Tia. If that is not admiration and respect to a point of worship I don't know what else would be.
That is the Shivvay we will see forming again post the MU and Tia nonsense cleared up.

She was the Goddess he put on a pedestal and her every word was written in stone for him. She could do no wrong because she was more than mortal. He had never met a woman like her - neither his mother, aunt or even Pinky were anywhere close to what Annika was. She was perfect and he began to fall madly in love with this perfect being.

Then he was challenged by Daksh that Annika was not the ideal woman Shivvay thought her to be but was just like any other girl from her background Shivvay was furious and even threatened him bodily harm if he ever took advantage or forced himself on her. But when Shivvay witnessed his trust, faith and his admiration almost to a point of 'hero worship' crumble before his eyes for a few lakhs, he felt betrayed and devastated that he had been made a fool of. She who always said could not be bought with money was selling herself for the very same thing and he had been taken for a ride.

Don't get Shivvay's character wrong, he is no prude - he was ok with Om's live in relationship with Ri, he himself had one with Mallika and thought no less of both these woman for that. His issue is less the ONS and more the fact that he believes she did it for money.
Look back and think about the words he used when he slammed his hand on the wall, "he did not say cheap woman, woman without virtue or a woman without morals" he said " Strong, independent woman my foot"
Therein lies the answer of how much he is going to hate himself for doubting his heart and believing his eyes. His "I believe in cold hard facts' is going to come back to bite him in the tushie ... lol

thank you so much for all your pms but sorry that I couldn't reply. Got caught in the bad weather in Chennai and had no electricity or phone signal to even talk to my parents, let alone come on the forum and have no idea what happened on the show the past 3 days...will read everything in the painfully slow net that I have if I can or comment on each one after going home in two days.
