That is no cowering, crying, sniffling Khushi there and I am so gald to see that. Sure she is scared out of her wits being alone in the room with this man playing his diabolic sadistic mind games with her but the brave face she has on makes me want to give her a tight hug and kiss her ... 🤗
She is my official 'Brave heart' ❤️

khushi was not crying/sniffling either...she asked him with anger 'if he hated her so much then why did he marry her'...she accused him of making her an orphan again and then pushed him...she did not take his charity(that is the blanket he threw at her)...what made her cry was his family's and her family's taunts...anika seems to be crying at his family's taunts too...did we watch the same ipkknd?are we watching the same ishqbaaaz?😆

Okay. Saw the show with the visuals. You are right: the visuals were definitely more appalling on their own.

Interesting things happened with the audio.

First. Shivaay showed just. how. much. Anika has gotten under his skin.

I mean Shivaay Singh Oberoi, Master of the Universe, losing it over the fact that a non-rich, non-lineage girl has been able to interfere in his mind, his life! The fact that everything that he worked so hard for lay in ruins because of her! It's like he just didn't understand what was happening and how she managed it!

That was brilliant. I felt so sorry for him! Khandaan 0; Sadak 1. 😆

Second. After the slap, he just went ice-cold, didn't he? In my earlier post here, I said that when he tossed her on the bed, and then leaned over her, elbow on his knee, he looked like a feudal lord reaching to have his way with her?

With the audio, that feeling went away. With the audio, everything he did became completely asexual.

The only thing that he wants right then is a bride. Any bride. For the day. Even Anika will do. His voice and his words were enough to get across the strength of his conviction. All the threat in the world was there, even without the random yanking and throwing on the bed/floor/whatever surface is close-by.

The scriptwriters played it wrong, imho, by making it physical. The physicality didn't seem to matter at all with his words. They could've been standing distinctly apart, but she would still have been terrified by the deadly intent in his words. It was that of a stranger, not the Shivaay she thought she knew.

Third. The precap became much more interesting too. Even after she has been so intimidated that she actually wore the wedding gown, Anika runs away?? Her spirit isn't broken. But Shivaay has thought of how to keep her under control. That was mean, Shivaay. Truly truly manipulatively mean.

(BTW, seriously? Shivaay gets to blow up a car in the middle of some random maidan .. in Bombay? Like... SERIOUSLY?

Shivaay, I want to fly drones over the city delivering packages -- can you arrange for me to be able to do that? 😆)

Fourth. The poor Oberois must really be tired dancing for all the time that Shivaay and his bride keep them waiting to come to the mandap. Maybe that's why no-one thought to ask or take a peep at the face of the beautiful bride under the veil before she sat at the mandap?

I agree with you. #1 is poop. I believe the line is that hate can be as strong and pure a feeling as love. But at least, it said "probably".

#2 is just bad English.

And it would be as bad in any other language.

This is from the show's producer? Oh dear.

Because I agree.

My heart soared at the O Jaana. "OMG." I thought, "HE'S FIGURED IT OUT. HE KNOWS ANIKA IS INNOCENT AND THAT DAKSH IS A CREEPY LITTLE JIZZPIPE."

And then he looked up.
And my heart stopped.
And all I could think was just "Anika omg RUN."

What was he thinking during that O Jaana?

Yes, that's the moment. Yes, that is the question, isn't it? Before that, he was panic-striken and furious-to-death with Anika all together. After that slap, everything went still.

What was he thinking?

BTW, "Creepy Little Jizzpipe"?? Haven't heard it before, but good one. 😆😆😆

Thank you for saying this!! 😊👏

In addition to making this scene non-physical, I think they should have shown some hesitancy from Shivaay's end - conflict between his head vs heart(purane scenes ka montage hi dekha dete 😆) - which the head will finally win and then he bombards Anika will all those words - shocking her and us!!

😆 I guess we all are.

Except. I hope that there will no pushing and pulling and smacking down really. I hope (I know?) that Anika does it in a far more classy way. Then we will get to: Khandaan 0; Sadak 2.

BTW, it was fascinating seeing Shivaay's cheek and ear having turned pink/red after the slap. She really did lay the smack on him in that one, didn't she? 😆

Which is what fallingpieces and I think happened in the "O jaana" moment -- only we, the audience, didn't get to see it. Maybe? 😆

PS: love the Sirius Black quote. So apt for Shivaay, no?

I don't think anyone has ever smacked The Shivaay Singh Oberoi
It was extremely satisfying to watch Annika give him one
I guess it'll be the cold shoulder, angry ready to get in his face Annika who won't listen to a single thing he says and does as she pleases.
It'll be fun to watch Annika look for work and an affronted Shivaay Singh Oberoi declaring that his wife will not and does not work.
Just wait for it.
Shivaay will rue the day he ever met Annika
Hopefully the idiotic CV's actually keep true to Annika's charcoal
