I m sure the hate is going to be from shivaay side by looking at the promo. He is going to insult her now and then. Does he have feelings for annika at all? Why gul mam said he will never accept annika?

but one of the writers did tweet that anika will give it back to him

the intensity is gonna set the screen on fire!!!!

I feel bad for anika too only because the way daksh has presented her infront of shivaay all those one night stand then paying anika for spending night with him...this was a really cheap trick by daksh...shivaay already thinks Bad about middle class people...now this fiasco made him mad...poor anika doesn't even know what daksh did...how I wished Billu did not believed daksh as shivaay knows anika would never do such thing...I just hope this MU gets clear by shivaay's side...but this force marriage still a mystery..well for shivaay to accept anika would take long because he blindly thinks that people with family khoon khaandaan are very important for him.

I hardly comment on this forum. Just on a few RUMYA posts coz I like their story. (at least it's different). But today I had to say something.

Yes I feel sorry for Annika too. Sadly Gul has gone down her usual path of hero "High-handedly" deciding what is good for a woman. As usual, a man gets to decide what a woman should do, and what her place is etc. Marrying someone "by force" or against their will is not something to celebrate. It actually happens to people in "Real" and it's not a laughing matter.

While I like Naakul's acting as Shivaay, I think in some scenes they make him grit his teeth too much. There is no need to do that to show anger. He was superb in his previous role and this role is totally different. I think he's doing justice to it, but sometimes the role is not doing justice to him. That whole scene of preponing the wedding without consulting anyone was so inconsiderate and selfish on Shivaay's part. ALL coz a girl he pretends NOT to have feelings for supposedly went to the "next level" in her relationship with another guy? I mean hypocrisy much?

Sadly GK has shown time and again, that she is on the man's side, and always make the female lead get insulted and humiliated by numerous people. In a previous show her FL was called "Bakari" as in ("cow or goat?), by the supposed caretaker of the guy's family. In another show the aunt of the ML called the FL all kinds of names to her face, even after their marriage. He NEVER was seen stopping her. I can only IMAGINE how social climbing Pinky is going to behave when she realizes her son didn't marry high society girl Tiya Kapoor and it's not a SHITIA wedding but a SHIVIKA wedding. I bet all her "niceness" will run out the window and she'll be worse than Hello hi bye bye.

At least on THIS show,I was thinking GK will show something different. A "Mature" relationship between the oldest son and his love interest. Even after a bad start how they come to understand each other, and then it culminates in a relationship of mutual respect. (happened to some extent) Then, they may marry for reasons other than love. But there is respect between them. Shivaay overcomes his prejudices. Not by forcing marriage on someone and then thinking her "below" him, but by marrying her even when he knows she is not from the background he wants because he values HER above his prejudices. He then fights for her honor and proves to himself that Khoon Khandan does not define anyone because he himself can see what a woman of worth his wife is. SHE doesn't have to prove anything to HIM!

But for THAT, this show has to be produced by an "Adult", not by someone who is still addicted to 80's style Mills and Boon novels, who thinks men controlling women is Hot! So far, Annika was shown with some self-respect. But now as Shivaay's wife, she will have to fight the prejudices of society, his family,and even HIM. That won't be a fun ride for her at all. Through no fault of her own, she will be thought of as a gold digger. This is not what I expected to see on THIS show. But then from Gul "Ma'am" one can't expect much better. Wish people would stop calling her that. Neither is she anyone's boss here or school principle. One thing I know for sure...Gul is a sadist and enjoys to see her FL suffer and through her the audience. So get ready for a daily does of insults coming Annika's way.

Unfortunately, I don't think the misunderstanding will be resolved before the wedding either. I'm a little disappointed the writers went with this type of misunderstanding because its unnecessary. I hate the fact she isn't aware what's happening behind her back. I guess we should be happy that she doesn't care what people think about her. When it comes to light she will be hurt because who would be happy being thought of as a woman that sleeps with man for money.

If he questions her or brings it up she should throw the cup along with the water in his face. With his family, his (already-married) fiancee, who wants to scam him out of his money and his childhood friend, who causally stalks, attacks, and places cameras in women's homes he shouldn't be giving out moral certificates. Morality isn't about genetics, names, or money and he will find that out soon.

I have hope she will stand up for herself and I couldn't be happier Sahil is going to boarding school because there is no reason for him to be around these dysfunctional people his aunt is enough.

well let's see what actually happens...but yes from the promo it does seem a forced marriage...I keep reading comments like "at least it is not a bride swap,it is her consent too"...but I think actual consent should be FREE consent...devoid of any blackmail or pressure or compulsion...and there probably is going to be some pressure on anika...just like there was pressure on khushi...even she gave her "consent" but it was not free consent.

Of course anika gives back in a better manner than gul's previous female leads...so that's there...what more can you expect from an indian tv show...shivaay is probably going to go back to manhandling her again too...but again indian tv show,what more can you expect?

I am watching this turkish tv show right now...and the hero does not manhandle the girl at all...even after knowing that she lied to him for months...she was actually in the wrong,he hasn't even misunderstood her or anything😆...I hope we can see such a hero in indian love stories one day too *sigh*

It is so strange to see her just go ahead with Shivaay's unspoken orders like that. Like she doesn't really have a choice.

When did Anika ever NOT have a choice? 😕

It's not because this is an Indian TV show that this sort of themes of controlling men are getting propagated. It's because the people making the shows don't want to stop "cliches" and continue to reinforce regressive thinking. That a man taking "charge" and forcing or compelling a woman into a situation she does not want to be in makes him "Macho". No it does not.

The fact is, whatever the reason, Shivaay has no right to paint Annika into a corner so she has no choice but to marry him. Last SP show ML of Gul's did the same thing by using the FL's sister and her impending wedding as her weakness. The male lead threatened to stop her wedding if she didnt marry him. (Of course he did it to stop her from breaking his sister's marriage, or so he thought). The sad part was they were in love then, and he was about to confess when he sees her with his Brother in law and hears part of a conversation that sounds like she is asking him to leave his wife for her. The circumstances were different to this. But it was still wrong of him.

Here I don't even know WHAT is going to happen that will make him do this? It can't be to "save" Annika from Daksh, coz he has gone to Delhi, and not even here for the wedding. He even said he had no intention of marrying her, and he had already got what he wanted from her, and even paid a "price" for it. So what is he saving Annika from? Annika's only weakness is Sahil. So I feel Sahil will be used to compel Annika. At least when Tia came and gave her money and said "Shivaay Baby" gave it to her as a tip, so she will take it and leave him alone, Annika WENT to Shivaay to clarify it. This is after she hears all those "Middle-class girl's aims" speech he was giving to Om. (Though that was also an MU). But at least she tried to find out the truth. Shivaay just believed that sleazy Daksh and preponed his wedding?

At this point, I cant see anything positive in this accept that Annika and Shivaay will be married (If in name only). Again, getting leads married in a twisted way, very old fashioned Mills and Boon. If they marry with both people consenting, even if it's for some other reason, it's fine. But this man painting woman into a corner, so she has to marry him is such an old concept, and so regressive, they really need to stop showing such things. It's not romantic! Western shows run for years without showing such BS, and they make heaps of money and have millions of fan following all over the world! So I dont agree that these type of themes are needed to attract people. The way Shivaay had matured towards Annika was attractive to see. But him going back to being the same A*s that he was at the start? I'm not liking it, and I dont know why people are celebrating him reverting back to that nasty person he used to be. I liked him a lot better when he respected Annika!

&also waiting for shivay redemption if he really think lk tht abt anika & mentally break her...

still hope he is doing ths to save anika..& MU cleared b4 wedding though i doubt..

gul said its a long way to xpose tia & daksh.thr revelation shadi k bohot baad hoga & m waiting for ths moment whn shivay knw the real face of ths khoon khandani log(i knw m thinking so far)

I can't believe on one hand people talk about women empowerment and equal rights of women but on other hand they enjoy abusive men forcing women to do what they want. The same forum hated a conwoman just because she was a female but a guy who is forcing a woman to marry him is supported as if he is doing a great thing. God forbid if Shivaay was a female then don't even want to imagine what would have happened in the forum. When most people could not accept Ishaana then how could anyone would have accepted a female Shivaay? Is he marrying her just because he thinks that the girl lost her V-Card to another man or some other reason? Such a hypocrite who can roam around with any girl be it Tia or Mallika or even her but she should remain unmarried whether he marries her or not and be his show-piece attraction all his life while he shows off his high-class wife. This Gul really has some mental problems. Being a woman she always degrades women in all her shows. Looks like her husband too married her forcibly and treats her like trash so she is showing other women the same way. In real life, a man cannot be changed with love like its shown by Gul or Ekta or any other director. The woman either goes into depression or commits suicide or her bottled up anger is directed to other innocent people after so many years. Whenever anyone would say that this show is different and Anika is not like other Gul heroines I would either laugh inwardly or roll my eyes because I knew that this show will be no different. If Gul can butcher a modern and highly educated NRI like Zoya who let herself got traded by her hero to his brother then what can we expect of not-so-educated middle-class Aniks? From what I read that Shivaay will never accept Anika its very much expected that Shivaay will torture her very much. Still, I see people enjoying such scenes just because the abuser is a male. Its easy to talk about woman empowerment and equal rights of women but to make it happen people especially females needs to stop encouraging such women degradation and objectification shown in the name of love-hate story, passion and romance. Why don't we ever see a show especially a Gul's show where its the other way round I mean a rich, arrogant, ruthless heroine torturing poor, innocent, selfless hero? Normally, I don't wish bad for anyone in the show without any reason but here I seriously wish someone treats Priyanka the same way or worse like Shivaay treated Anika from day 1 so that he knows how a woman feels when a man hurts her. I may sound mean or hypocrite but I can't think anything else.
