As OM pointed out very rightly, she is the Oberoi's most important and valuable asset. I can see Shivvay locking her up in a gilded cage (as I had mentioned in my other post) once he marries her).

I can see a forced marriage but with Shivvay totally out of his mind trying to convince Annika that he has changed and loves her for who she is. She is his exact half so she is equally proud and vain in her own way.

OR

Shivvay doing it to keep his family's good luck charm for good in the family.

I PREFER THE FIRST ONE OF COURSE. THIS WAY SHIVVAY GETS A CHANCE TO REDEEM HIMSELF FOR HURTING ANNIKA EVERY SINGLE DAY OF HIS LIFE BY SHOWING HER HOW MUCH SHE MEANS TO HIM.

Here I think DadI steps in to help the lovestruck grandson and pulls out the big guns. Annika owes them 30 lakhs to be paid over a period of 25 years!!!! Anyone remember that? ??

Yes it does screw everything but this was never promoted to be love story but it is family drama so love concept is not important.I still feel some one from that family will force her to say such things.

And that leads to marriage , later Shivay's transformation and Love for Annika.

It is impossible to break Shivay's belief's at this point, they cannot show him falling for her just because she left the house and innocent etc. They need to bring them closer first, and make him realize how wrong he was judging her and the whole khandaan crap. It wont be a hate marriage, but a compromised one, just to protect her and his tarnished family image.
