I was just thinking how I wanted Rathore scene to turn out and I thought I'd write my thoughts. This is not an OS. Just wishful thinking
Location: Jail
2 am. One police officer sitting on a desk and another one is standing behind him yawning. Shivaay behind the bars and OmRu standing there
Police 1: You need to leave. This is a police station not a railway station that you stand here giving your brother company
Rudra and Om argue when there is some sound behind. Enters Anika
Anika: I can prove that he is innocent.
Rathore's voice: I'm handling the case and whatever your so called "proof" is. It will be I who will decide if this oberoy gets out of the jail
Shivaay shocked, looks at her from behind the bars. Remembers all the harsh words he said. He is shocked and yet hopeful. She walks near another table which is at the far end of the room. A person is sitting with his chair facing the wall. She cant see his face.
Anika: There is an bunglow opposite the building Gayatri was found dead and they have security cameras that face the far end of the road. The murder is said to have taken place between 1.pm to 2.pm. Oberoy mansion security cameras can prove that he was home during that time and the recording that I found is one shady person dressed in black entering the building during that time.
The police tales the recording and plays it on the laptop, Rathore doesn't turn around
Rathore: HOW CAN u be so sure it is not Shivaay? He could dress that way, tamper his security tape to show that he was home.
Anika: This guy seems to be very tall. The top of his head touches the electrical meter there. I was there and I measured the height. He must be 6'3". And SSO is -well- short."
Omkara and Rudra are snickering, but happy. Shivaay looks at her with pride. Anika turns around and looks at Shivaay. Shivika eyelock. Rathore stands up and looks at Anika
Rathore: (Angrily) I cannot understand whether you are extremely smart or incredibly stupid.
Anika turns and there is a pause. Then recognition
Anika: Ranveer?
Rudra Om Shivaay shocked
Rathore: Yes. Your Ranveer. I cannot believe you risked your life for this man who wouldn't care if you lived or died,
Shivaay (furious): Watch what you are saying rathore. How do you know Anika?.
Anika (ignorimg him): What are you doing here and you are not even surprised to see me.
Rathore; I saw a Miss Anika on his payrole and I thought of you. Your voice cleared the other lingering doubrs
Omkara: Y do you think she risked her life?
Rathore: Anika if he didn't kill Gayatri, the killer is there. He will know that you managed to save him once again. That will make you on his target .
Shivaay is considering this. Suddenly worried for Anika's safety
Anika: Ranveer I don't think"
Ranveer: That's the problem with you Anika. You never think. At least not with your head when it comes to someone you care about. And this SSO doesn't deserve your concern. You are far too innocent for people like him Anika
Shivaay connecting this with Prinku's incident- remembering that Anika's heart was at the right place when she let dev in the house.
Ranveer keeps his hand on Anika's shoulders
Shivaay suddenly angry. He catches the bars tightly. His fingers white. His face is murderous
Anika: He hasn't killed Gayatri. That is all I know
Ranveer: You are letting your emotions cloud your judgement
Anika: You are letting your prejudice cloud yours
Anika is holding his hands now- both with their hands around each other. OmRu looking with mouths open. Shivaay is beyond angry. He doesnt understnd his need to beat this guy to a pulp
Anika: Ranveer, your dad was falsely convicted because of a rich person. But that doesn't mean every rich person is wrong and every poor is innocent. History doesn't repeat itself every time. You know Shivaay is innocent. Let him go. I know being right and being just matters more to you than your prejudices."
Shivaay looking angrily at them. Rudra points that out to Om. Ranveer Anika eyelock . Shivaay walks and stands between them.
The lock up is opened and Shivaay is let out.

Shivaay( looks at Anika) Anika---
Anika(cutting him off and looking at Ranveer) I've got to go. Its late and Sahil will be alone at home
Ranveer: What about buaji?
Anika: you know how she is
Police calls Ranveer for some formalities
Shivaay: Anika I'll drop you home
Anika: No thank you. I will manage
Shivaay: You have two options Anika. You walk in willingly in the car or I'll lift you up and take you against your will
Anika: If you think you can do that with Ranveer around you don't know him.
Shivaay holding Anika the way Ranveer held her
Shivaay: Ranveer doesn't have a right to interfere in my life. If he tries I'll..(lost for words) How do you know him?
Anika: We were friends as kids. He knows Prinku as well.
Shivaay: That didn't stop him from using his power on Prinkus brother unnecessarily
Ranveer (from behind): I know your sister but I don't care for a rich princess. Anika, I'll drop you home.
Shivaay: No need. I'll be dropping her home
Ranveer doesn't say anything. He holds Anika's hand
Shivaay stops them by putting his hand on Anika's wrist.
OmRu shocked
Shivaay: I'm not allowing her to leave with you
Anika: Shivaay singh oberoy, you have no rights over me.
Shivaay: And he does?
Anika: Yes
Shocked- followed by Anger. OmRu pull him behind. Ranveer and Anika leave
SCENE: POLICE STATION PARKING LOT
Ranveer and Anika get in an open jeep and leave
Shivaay gets in his car and follows them
Om: Why are you following them?
Shivaay: I don't trust him
Rudra: Bhaiyya is jealous. Villain ki entry in the love story. Like lady baba wasn't enough
Shivaay: Shut Up Rudra
Stops at a distance watching Ranveer drop Anika to the door. His hands are clenched in fists.
One they leave, he angrily starts the car and drives home at a fast speed with rudra muttering prayers in the background
