They give me a very brotherly sisterly/ bff vibes. Also what I fail
To understand and this is specifically in india - why only romantic relationships are worth talking about? All of a sudden just because we don't have anyone opposite OM for now - this crops up. Why can't we just see them as confidants or friends like shown in American shows, I guess that's too much to ask for.

Also a woman falling in love with two brothers or brothers fighting amongst each other for a girl - just makes me cringe. Way to destroy purity of two amazing relationships - just my thoughts

You make some really valid points but I have certain concerns.

1)Omkara and Anika are good people with all the qualities you mention but I feel Anika is practical enough to know where to draw the line. They both ( Annikara) walk that extra mile for people and yes Shivika will be better in that aspect as one partner would counter balance.

2)Shivika being family centric. Dont you think here Anikara would compliment each other. As Om is a bit withdrawn, he is all for ideals and Anika can bridge the gap.

3)I dont think Shivaay needs Anika to facilitate his bonds with family. He iss not the regular Angry young man , he has forged pretty solid bonds with all his family with the exception of the middle generation. And the bond with middle generation is what the trio (Shivomru) lacks and fulfils amidst themselves.

Infact I think Omkara will share a beautiful relationship with Sahil who is Anika's only family. Shivaay's bond with Sahil... well I am doubtful of that! Lets see what CVs do with Sahil n Shivay. Eagerly waiting.

4)My major concern. Anika, a motor mouth and Shivaay, the elitist. Will Shivaay respect Anika? He pushes her away using her aukaat, naam, etcetera. They fight in some future scenario and these barbs may get used again. A person should first and foremost respect his partner, love is meaningless without it.
Om is made up differently. He respects individuals.

Man... I wrote an essay. But seriously I dont wanna start a Shivika vs Annikara war. My Annikara exist in a world where Shivaay does not exist. I do not want Anika to chose. Shivika and Anikara are mutually exclusive

All I can say is AniKara would have been something that would be in their comfort zone But Shivika will happen only if Shivaay and anika step out of their comfort zones and make all odds work in their favour😆 As for the last point regarding respect, that we have to see, i think he does respect her but not totally, but when they reach the point where they are in love then definitely there will be respect and adoration. As for Om, he respects everyone and even if he argues he would never stoop down to disgusting shit ... which shivika can badmouth eachother 😆 another common trait 😆

i really think anikara do have a potential as a couple. There is a lot of pain in both their lives which will be a way to connect them. and i can see a lot of passion between them too. I don't want a triangle tho.

Very interesting theory. It's possible because Shivaay and Om are two sides of the same coin. Although, each are motivated by different ideologies, but deep down I think their characters are quite similar (jaded, pessimistic, lost, hid their pain for the sake of others, stubborn my way or no way attitude, love of family, fierce conviction to their truth and only their truth, the level of anger: Shivaay is always in battle mode, Om when provoked.) Om can be just as cold and judgmental if the situation doesn't coincide with his "truth". He is willingly to walk the walk and abandon everyone he cares about for the sake of truth. Whereas, Shivaay gives his family the benefit of the doubt, but strangers are automatically written off.

Basically, one is motivated by his pride and his view of the people, the other by his pain and his view of the truth. Anika has both pride and pain, I can see it working either way.
Both need genuine love and a hug 😆
