Omkara and Anika have so much in common that would have never survived together. They both share the same values; ready to help anyone who needs it, respecting the elders, honestly stating their POV whicle still being a compassionate listener. Had they been best friends they would have rocked but as a couple no they wouldn't have worked. They never had to work on each other as they would have considered each other PERFECT. Plus Om needs a partner who is in to arts a little bit, so that she can think if OM gets stuck somewhere and help him out and can suggest him ways to improve himself and his work.😳
As for Shivaay and Ankia; they are balanced. They have enough in common and enough that's different. They both are elder siblings, have struggled enough to make ends meet for their families, never had any time for themselves.
Shivaay is a shrewd business tycoon while anika is a smart small worker with good managerial skills. If they work together they can do wonders. Shivaay has a dysfunctional family while anika has none. The way anika has bonded with shivaay's family even shivaay hasn't gelled like that in years. Anika can bind him and his family really well. (OM is already apple of everyone's eye except Tej😆so anika isn''t needed here).
Shivaay listens to no one but Anika puts things in to his head in a way he accepts (not upfront but yes in his mind he does approach things the way anika does atleast where relationships are concerned).
Anika blabbers whatever comes in her mouth while shivaay knows what he says (ignore that trash talk about Ani), He can make her learn some high class elite manners (in his style) so she doesn't have to try and fit in the family like pinky. Although it's a tough thing to do so lets see where they go with this one.
Also the most important thing both shivaay and anika are level headed and never back out of an argument and she is the only one who stands up to his anger and never gets scared.
ShivIka have a vast arena where they can grow together and make each other better.

You make some really valid points but I have certain concerns.
1)Omkara and Anika are good people with all the qualities you mention but I feel Anika is practical enough to know where to draw the line. They both ( Annikara) walk that extra mile for people and yes Shivika will be better in that aspect as one partner would counter balance.
2)Shivika being family centric. Dont you think here Anikara would compliment each other. As Om is a bit withdrawn, he is all for ideals and Anika can bridge the gap.
3)I dont think Shivaay needs Anika to facilitate his bonds with family. He iss not the regular Angry young man , he has forged pretty solid bonds with all his family with the exception of the middle generation. And the bond with middle generation is what the trio (Shivomru) lacks and fulfils amidst themselves.
Infact I think Omkara will share a beautiful relationship with Sahil who is Anika's only family. Shivaay's bond with Sahil... well I am doubtful of that! Lets see what CVs do with Sahil n Shivay. Eagerly waiting.
4)My major concern. Anika, a motor mouth and Shivaay, the elitist. Will Shivaay respect Anika? He pushes her away using her aukaat, naam, etcetera. They fight in some future scenario and these barbs may get used again. A person should first and foremost respect his partner, love is meaningless without it.
Om is made up differently. He respects individuals.
Man... I wrote an essay. But seriously I dont wanna start a Shivika vs Annikara war. My Annikara exist in a world where Shivaay does not exist. I do not want Anika to chose. Shivika and Anikara are mutually exclusive
