Ya, and speaking as a member of the' used maal' brigade...I guess no one here has ever seen a single show with a proper depiction of a con artist. Who were the imbeciles who made White Collar and a kickass con artist like Neal...I wonder. 🤪

The point being that almost every theme, every character trait will recur some place or the other. In literature for example, you will have character types who embody certain cliches.

Every time however, it's the treatment that matters. And we like our ship pretty fine thank you, because the treatment is refreshing and the subtle variations work well.

I originally watched the show for omkara and Ishana,because I felt that shivika was exactly like Arshi...(and in my heart no one can compare to arshi)..but recently since Ishkara is no longer seen...my mind is slowly starting to like shivika...especially after the drunk party scene.They seem to have a unique charm.
