I think that her being insecure is right. At first when Shivay never reciprocated any interest, she was fine with his indifference, but now after the party & the letter, she feels that she might have a relationship with Shivay.
If we look at her as just another girl who is getting married to this perfect man who wasn't quite interested but now is putting efforts and sees dat half of his family is literally pushing him towards another woman she has lil right to act the way she is acting.
Besides she has been nice to Anika, vice versa. She knows that Shivay hates Anika. So it would be a blow for her to see him listening to her. Secondly whatever her hidden agenda is money or name, we have to agree that she is stepping in this marriage for life & no matter how indifferent u are anybody would get emotionally involved to the person they are marrying
