Chapter : 5
Shivaay's pov :
I was driving aimlessly n trying to understand why Mallika betrayed me. The women i loved wid all my heart cheated on me wid my biggest rival Siddharth Vikram Rana. I didn't know when i reached the mansion. I was so depressed that my mind wasn't in my control. All i could feel was pain. After parking my car i opened the door n was greeted by silence. I have never felt this much empty.
I went to my room n started drinking as i was unable to handle so much pain. Words can't describe how i feel right now. In a minute my whole world has been destroyed. I loved Mallika so much that still i can't believe that she had betrayed me. I smiled sadly when i remembered Anika. This must be the way she felt all along knowing the one she loved never really cared for her. I wasn't a good husband. I always shouted at her. I never treated her as my wife. I always neglected her. The thing only i gave to her is PAIN. I really have done wrong with her. Now i really need to apologize to her. With this thought i got up n went to her room but again i was welcomed by silence. There was no sign of her. Then when i asked the servants, i got to know that she had already left. I was feeling really guilty for what i have done to her. I need to talk to her n say sorry then only i can get relief. With this i fall alseep as today was really a longday for me.
Next morning i woke up n realise that i was asleep in Anika's room. I get up n freshen up n went down. Today i didn't go to office as my mind was still occupied by Mallika. I decided to find out why Mallika betrayed me so i hired a private investigator to check on her. I was devastated to find that Sid n Mallika were already in a relationship before i started seeing her. N they r still dating each other behind my back. Mallika had never loved me infact she was with me for my business n property. Mallika was helping SVR to get over me. She was just a bloody traitor. She was just using me to get all my business. I was lucky enough to know about this all in right time. Now i will make them suffer like hell. I will destroy their lives. I will make them pay for their sins.
It has been 3 days i was at home only. I dont feel like working at all. All i could think was about Anika. Suddenly my phone started ringing n it was from Anika's bro Sahil. I don't know why he was calling me as we haven't had any conversations before. I received the call.
" hello Shivaay."
"Yup!"
"Shivaay i know we haven't talked before but today i want to talk about Anika, am really worried about her."
" so what u wanna talk? "
" Shivaay i just wanna ask u if u r really going through the divorce."
" yes infact we had already signed the papers 5 days ago."
" what? So is Anika with u till now? Is she still staying at ur house? "
" wait a sec, why Anika should be with me infact she left the mansion after signing the paper. Isn't she in her dad's house? "
" i am at dad's house right now n there is no sign of her. Oh god! Where will be she now. What if something bad happens to her. No this can't happen. She had already suffered alot. But not now, she will break this time."
" sahil! Stop it. What r u saying! Nothing will happen to her. She is really strong girl. She can fight with anything. "
" no Shivaay! She isn't strong person which She shows. I already had loose one sister n now i cant loose her. Shivaay, anika really needs love n care. She had suffered so much that i am scared what if this time she may give up. Shivaay u don't know anything about her past."
"Sahil! First calm down. Don't panic. N what r u saying about her past. Is there something that i don't know. "
After convincing Sahil that nothing will happen to her i cut the call. I really need to find her. She need us. She need love n affection. So to find about her i again hired a investigator . I went to her room. Maybe be i can find some clues about her whereabouts. When i entered her room, her things r kept neatly. All the things r on right place. I actually had brought a wardrobe when we got married but Anika was not even a fan of designer clothes like Mallika. She stayed simple. Then i realised that Anika wasn't materialistic. I never heard asking me to buy her anything. If i wasn't in so called love with Mallika, i might have seen how perfect wife Anika can be. She never failed to cook food for me although i never eat a singal meal in this 1 yr. I started checking drawers . I couldn't find anything until i opened the last one. There was alots of things. I saw there was a photo of a boy cutting a cake n one girl n Mr. Malhotra was standing beside him. Maybe that girl is Anika's sis.
Then i remembered what Sahil told me about her past. That day only they lost aisha n put all blame on Anika. I mean how can they even think that Anika had done this. I was now really feeling sad for her as she had suffered so much. Then i saw another photo of a women maybe she was her mother. Again i was back on Sahil's word. He told me that her mother died while giving birth to her. Then only her father started hating her. Poor soul!...
I took some other photos n it was of rivers n oceans. After that i find the nuptial chain that i had tied her on the day of our marriage.
Now i remembered the day i saw Anika for the first time although i wasn't not interested in seeing her but i saw n the first thing came in my mind was Angel...she was just like an angel. Today only i got to know the reason why she married me. So basically she wasn't at fault. She was forced to marry me n all this time i was thinking that she purposely married me. Then i found the credit card which i had gave her few days ago. I quickly dialed the number to help me to trace her purchase. But i got to know that she hadn't used this card still. I emptied whole drawer but i couldn't find anything. She had left me n i deserved it.
I just wish that nothing had happened to her n she is safe somewhere. What Sahil told me about her past was really heart wrenching. Poor Anika she had suffered alot. She has been neglected since her childhood n i also have done same to her. When ever i used to see her i felt something different in her eyes. But i was so busy in my own world that i never spare a singal glance at her.
Anika must be in vulnerable right now. Firstly she lost her family n now love of her life. God plz don't let her to harm herself. The divorce could be her breaking point. She must be really hurt. I don't know how Anika lived her life with so much pain . I couldn't stand a little bit pain given by Mallika. Anika has been really strong till now alk alone. But not any more. I need to find about her. And this time i will give all the things which she have right to get. Yes i will find her at any cost.
Next day i went to office as i had called the lawyer becoz this was only the last hope of getting Anika back. I remembered Anika had made some changes in papers n told the lawyer to show me after she will leave. Although i was curious to know wahat she had written but i really never cared. But now i will find her. Suddenly there was a knock the door n lawyer enters my cabin with divorce papers. I flip the pages n looked for the one with Anika's note in it. And when i read it, i realised that i have done the biggest mistake of my life.
Note: I, Anika Shivaay Singh Oberoi refuse to accept anything from Mr. Shivaay Singh Oberoi. If he insists me to give anything then the agreement will be null n void.
I also want the full custody of my child when he/she is born. I don't think it would matter to u but just letting u know. I found out i am pregnant the same day u sent me these papers.
To Mr. Oberoi, i have wasted 1 yr of ur life. For that i really can't do anything now. But from now i will promise that u will never see me again. Sorry for the trouble i caused so far.

After reading her note my hands were shaking. It ia a lot to take in. She is pregnant! I am going to be dad but i chose to let her go. I don't know what feelings i have for her but still she has my child. I can't let my child grow up not knowing me. Now i really have to find her . I can't let her go not with my child.
