Television rating points quantify the gross rated points achieved by an advertisement or campaign among targeted individuals within a larger population.

For example. 1,000,000 individuals (this is approx. data, it is usually defined through sampling through people-meter): For a single episode of a program (30 minutes or 1 hour) If out of above 1,000,000 of individuals 220,000 (In India people meter is permanent I think. BRAC of india don't calculate it everyday instead they have a permanent people meter.) saw at least 1 minute of programme then:

Reach = (220,000/1,000,000) x 100 Reach = _ *.Hence, gross reach = Week 1 Week 2 Week 3 Week 4 *.Gross reach = 22,00 As I said BRAC Don't calculate people viewer ship daily.. Like other countries... So gross reach is permanent in our India.

So, trp impression/22,00 = Trp rating.

Overnight UK's viewership- On Star Plus, Mere Angne Mein' led with 106,800 viewers at 18:00, followed by Ishqbaaaz' at 21:30 with 101,600 viewers and Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' at 19:30 with 99,700 viewers.
