Hahahaah Its like the very judgemental Shivay. When the Oberois do something, "yaaayyy!" and when others do it "Ughh, they are not oberois so doesn't matter". 😆

I love it too! Just hope cvs do a better job with it. I mean there's a lot of potential to this character and the love story that will take place. Both Omkara and Ishana will be learning things from each other's lives and it needs to be shown properly so that the audience gets the message.
And I just sooo agree. Why does the Indian audience love seeing characters in white and black? I'm just sick and tired of seeing sati savitries 😵
So glad to see a badass woman out there to creat havoc in calm and peaceful Omkara's life 😆 (I really hope they do make her actual badass and not merely a majboor ladki)

Point. I don't deny there are inconsistencies in her writing. So far, the only well written (consistently at least) characters are actually Rudra and Anika according to me. There hasn't been a major time lapse since they introduced the pilot, and although it was shot almost a year ago supposedly, only Rudra and Anika have stayed true to their personalities to the dot for me. They're still the same, they still believe in the same things.

I recognise the to-and-fro jumps in Ishana's characterisation. As someone named 'Cat' said, it's all over the place and I fully agree. I wish they could go all grey, then slowly reveal facets of her personality. It would be so strikingly opposite to what Om is as well, and such a new thing to watch. But I recognize that they aren't daring enough to do that on Indian TV alas! Hopefully the upoming angst in their love story will make up for it. I will be SO pissed if Om forgives her quickly.

Thanks for the post.
I am glad the writers chose to do this character. However, yes people are having a hard time accepting her coz she is out there to con him. Majority viewers just want a 'miss goody two shoes' as a female protagonist.
The writers I am happy have given her a sob story. It would have been difficult otherwise to make the audience accept her had she been a ruthless con girl.
However, the problem is they have the character sketch ready but do not know how to deliver it. They are failing to get the balance between the real Ishana and fake Ishana right. They need to show us her thinking. Connect us to her mind. They have to maintain that balance between filmy Ish, sorted Ish and fake Ish.

I can't agree more with you. My thoughts are the same. If we can accept the flawed heros then why can't flawed heroines ? Why these double standards ?
I know right now her charcter appears weakest & here cv's has to blame. They are doing poor job . I hope they get back their brain & explore her .. this character has potential just like omkara has. For a change i want a Bad girl & Good boy love story.
I want to watch how a good boy who is rich by name & fame reforms a bad girl whose path is wrong but intensions ain't. Many says she can ask money from him widout conning him,but i ask what's the gurentee that he will give her such a huge amount. We know Om but ishana doesn't know depth of his emotions. She simply feel she will con him & leave him forever. The only motive abt exposing ridz is that she knows She is dishonest to him & the girl like girl as your life partner can make your life hell. She genuinely thinks good for him so she is helping at the same time ishana knows omkara doesn't deserve her. She knows she is wrong, she feels guilty, she hides her guilt behind her comedy, movie banter etc.

All i see IshKara story is about second chances they are one hell intriguing characters.
We have to give time to cv's regarding Ishana's.they might surprise us you never know .* no harm being positive *

the bold line is exactly what I think..Ishaana still not taking Om completely seriously..today also she was in playful mood when Om was scolding Ridz..she was not taking his words seriously...she does not know his intensity and how much emotional he is..now when she will start knowing about his inner feelings and depth..thats when ishaana's turning point will start...ish herself is too emotional..and she will start falling for him badly without thinking about the consequences..she may not con him also..but he initial lie will definitely be exposed in front of Om and them the major confrontation between Ishkaara will happen..Om will be damn angry, hurt..at the same time Ish will be majorly broken..

and then it will be amazing to watch how ish will rebuild the trust in Om and make him fall in love with her once again..

I am scared as well as super excited..

I have started watching dis show recently...havent seen much of Ishaana scenes but in watever scenes I saw she seems an interesting character and I'l hv to catch more to dig wats in her mind but her scenes r funny and I like vrushika as Ishaana except for some dance scenes wich I find ott but dats not her fault...its in d script I guess.

I think she noticed his anger in dat scene when he was talking abt lies n all...she was attentive.

And u said correctly dat it will b interesting to watch how she will build d lost trust in his mind .Ishana will hv to suffer a lot to get her om back

Haven't been regular with the episodes so can't say anything about Rudra and Anika but I do hope they bring consistency to Ishana's character. I'm actually glad they don't show her feeling bad about her work all the time but I only feel they can show it better than adding senseless comedy. Being smart and funny is also possible. Yes, Om shouldn't forgive her quickly and I hope they also show Ishana putting her case across boldly and telling Om that she did what she did to save her family. No regrets about that because its extremely easy to judge others and come up with unrealistic rules when everything is going well for a person(financially) i.e Omkara.

Yes, I agree and I hope they work a little hard on her character and give us a great storyline because I like the actress and she's good in emotional as well as comedy scenes so they can do wonders with her.

Right now I don't even want her to feel anything for him. She's out there to con him and she should stick to that without getting emotionally involved but as well all know that will happen one day, and then it will be interesting to see the battle that will rage within her.

Heya! Feel free to express yourself. No one will judge :)
The intention behind introducing her character is so good but I hope they also execute it well because currently they are not doing a very good job with it. What I like about this story is that it isn't the typical opposites attract concept where its hero is a brooding man and the heroine a bubbly girl. Here we have a man who is perfect to a fault and believes in all the right things in life and a girl who is not even close to what he is and so unlike other heroines. I really find the role reversals fascinating. Both will be learning from each other because both have some flawed views of life. Would be interesting!
