"NO! O...BHAIYA- DON'T TAKE HIM AWAY- LEAVE ME." Rudra's screams echoed across the corridor as he struggled in the hands of his brother and father. Several heads turned to watch the scene unfolding in front of the emergency room.

"Rudra...please - Nothing will happen to O." Shivaay tried reassuring the crying child struggling to restrain him from running off. He wanted to cry like Rudra but he understood the weight of the ordeal. Omkara was being transferred to a rehabilitation centre. He was found hours ago in his bedroom, unconscious and barely alive. He was rushed to the hospital and saved in the nick of time. The doctors had found an overdose of drugs in his system and the various puncture marks in his body suggested repeated drug abuse. A drug addict. The doctor's voice rang in Shivaay's mind. He had lunged at the doctor when he called his brother a drug addict and wept when he realized that it was a reality. He was helpless. They were taking him.

"Bhaiya, They are taking him away. Stop them. O!! WAKE UP O! -" Om's immobile form lay on the stretcher unaware of Rudra's screams as they rolled him out of the emergency room towards the exit. Shivaay closed his eyes in an attempt to calm himself. Rudra was a child, he needed to stay sane for the sake of the child. Rudra wreathed in his hands violently, trying to run off after his brother.

"Shut up Rudra!" Tej's voice reverberated across the corridor. Rudra stood whimpering clutching Shivaay's shirt. Shivaay noticed Tej's hold on Rudra's upper arm. "Not one more word or else - "Rudra hugged Shivaay in fear as Tej raised his hand. Shivaay pulled Rudra protectively behind him and met his uncle's eyes, both pair set ablaze with fury. Several seconds ticked by before Tej dropped his hand, turned around and left. Rudra began weeping harder continuously chanting for his O. He gently held the crying child's hand and directed him to the balcony.

He didn't know how to console the child. He was just as broken but he had to. Shivaay made Rudra sit down on the couch and knelt before him. He cupped the Rudra's face in his hands and wiped away the tears. Rudra hugged Shivaay and began crying on his shoulders. Shivaay kissed atop his head and gently rubbed his back in an attempt to calm him. Slowly the sobs subsided.

"Bhaiya..." Shivaay's heart broke at his brother's slight voice, still in his embrace.

"Hmm.."He managed to let out.

"We will get back O, won't we?" Tears streamed down Shivaay's face as he listened to his brother's innocent query. He bit his lips in an attempt to calm himself.

"Don't you trust your Shivaay bhaiya?" Shivaay asked in a hoarse voice.

"Hmm." Rudra hummed against his shoulder in affirmative.

"What do I always say to you and om?" Shivaay asked again.

" You always say that we are brothers for life and- and - we will never be separated and we should always remember- one for all and all for one." Ruxdra whispered groggily.

"Exactly. We will always be together. Om will be back and we will be together again all right? And when he's back we will go to your fav- " Shivaay stopped as he felt Rudra's chest rise and fall rhythmically. He had fallen asleep. The poor child. Shivaay brushed away the tears on his face and kissed his forehead, and then he gently picked him up and walked to the car.
