But you have hurt Rudra here, so that's one wish fulfilled even though we only get Om's angst.

Beautiful piece, I can see that this would be Om's turning point in getting help. Rudra could've been hurt seriously by the drugs, what if he had overdosed on it? Om would definitely not want that.

My head cannon is Shivaay having a confrontation over this. Shivaay will be furious because Om hurt Rudra and threaten to keep Rudra away from Om if he does not go into rehab. It was the worse thing that could happen to Om, so he doesn't even protest. 💔

Then the day Om is leaving for rehab, Rudra cried so hard because he thinks it's his fault that Om is going away. He made Om promise to come back as soon as he can which is what motivates Om to beat his addiction.

You know when started watching ishqbaaz, I formed my own opinion on obros...what makes them shivaay-omkara-rudra and how deep is their bonding and to what extend they will go for each other...will there be any limitations or conditions in their bonding...your story are reconfirming my views on them... Shivaay-Omkara may be broken inside...almost emotionally scarred but it is rudra who is a balm to their soul...is a thread which has tied them together and saved them drowning in their own consuming sorrows...truly well written piece of writing...
