All were in the party venue...
"Aaj aap sab ko meri Aaloopuri aur kaala channa khaana padega." said Anika wid a pleading as well as ordering look.
"Main toh ready hun Anika. Waise bhi mujhe tumhari aaloopuri bohot pasand hai." Said Prinku.
"Meri weight toh nahi badegi na agar meine ye sab khaya toh?" Asked a concerned Rudra. "Agar maine bohot khaaliya na toh...
"...Toh tere packs kharab hojayega aur ladkiyan tumhare peeche peeche nahi ayenge. Right Rudra".. asked Anika smiling.
Om Prinku laughed nd Shivaay smiled.
"Aap bhi na didi...theeke main khaunga" said Rudra Pouting...
"Aww mera baccha" she said pinching his cheeks. "Chalo sab khaate hai".
She served evryone nd she was about to serve Shivaay
"Aur vaise bhi desi khaane main shayad less healthy honge par swaad zyaada hai" she said placing two puris in his plate.
Rudra took a bite "Yummm!! Aap ki haath mein aisa kya hai di...its juz so tasty..muwwaah"
"Isiliye mujhe di ka khaana bohot pasand hai. Aagaya na maza" said Sahil. Then he and Rudra hi fived.
"Kaha tha na maine ki iski banaya hua Khaana bohot delicious hai" said prinku.
"Vakaai main. Anika bohot accha hai. Bilkul ghar ka khaana ki tarah hai. Bohot din hogaye aisa khaana kha kar."
Anika felt happy as they enjoyed eating. All were merily eating except Shivaay. Anika saw this.
"Arrey aapne ab tak khaya kyun nahi?" She asked
"Mujhe actually haathon se khana khane ka aadat nahi hai. Toh mujhe spoon chahiye." He said.
All looked at each other and then took a look at Shivaay. Everyone burst out laughing. Shivaay was surprised by their outburst. Then he saw Anika laughing nd he just couldnt take his eyes of her. She is beautiful. Just so beautiful. He was staring at her like a maniac. Everyone noticed this nd chuckled. Anika started feeling a bit shy.
"Bhai kya hua?" Asked Rudra.
"Beautiful" he replied.
Om Rudra nd Prinku giggled.
Kya beautiful" bhai asked Om.
"Anika" he said...
Anika blushed. The rest saw her wid a eyebrow raised and naughty smile teasing her.
"Lagta hai Shivaay bhaiya ko pyar ho gaya hai. Mujhe jab pehli baar pyaar hua na toh main bhi aisa tha." Said Sahil smiling.
Om Rudra and Prinku laughed.
"Tujhe pyar hua tha kya?" Asked Om.
"Aap kaise spoon ke saath aaloo puri khayenge" she said trying to change the topic.
"Huh...what??" He asked coming out of his trance.
"Hume aapse ye question poochna chaahiye" said rudra.
"Aur haan aap spoon se kaise puri khayenge?" Anika asked agian.
Shivaay was embaressed as he understood what he did. He was hesitant to put his hand in the food.
"Rukiye main aapko sikhati hun" Anika said.
She shows him and he does the same. And then he eats with his eats.
"Jab haathon se khaana khate hai ne toh khaane aur bhi swadisht lagega" said Anika munching a bite.
The dinner was over. Nd Om Rudra prinku and Sahil were playing outside in the Garden. Anika was washing her hands after her work. When she felt someone was standing right at the back of her. She turned slightly and her back hit someone's chest.
"Thank you." He said
"Kyun" she asked
"Ye sikhane keliye ki haathon se kaise khaate hai. Vaise khaana bohot tasty tha." He said moving back. She turned and looked at him and asked.
"Ye toh aap sabke saamne bhi keh sakthe the na" she said smiling lighly.
"Vo kya hai na akele mai kehne main zyaada mazaa aata hai."
He said smirking.
"Aisa kya mazaa aata hai?" She asked
"Apne tareeke se keh saktha hun...
a small pause...
So friends" he said extending his hand. She smiled and shook hands with him. They smiled. She moved forward nd slipped. But a pair of strong hands held her close and protectively. His touch sent current shocks through her spine. Holding her close made him feel something new. A bit awkward yet they wanted to feel it more. Actually they liked the feeling. He made her stand.
"Tum theek ho?"
"Theek kaise nahi hongi aapne jo pakadliya tha" she answered naughtily. He was surprised by her answer.
Rudra captured a photo of them together to show it to Dadi. They both went together to the garden.
"Anika di kal dadi ne aapko ghar bulaya hai" said rudra. "Aur Sahil ko bhi saath mein le aana".
"Par kyun?"
"Vo bus aapse milna chahti hai" om answered
"Theeke main aajaoongi" she said
"Toh ghar chalein" asked Shivaay.
All nodded in a yes. Om nd Rudra made a plan. Om Rudra and Prinku sat in another car. Shivaay asked " Ye doosra ghadi kyun sab saath chalte hai na"
"Vo kya hai na bhai hum theeno bohot thak chuke hai. Toh isiliye hum ghar jaa rahe hai. Aap Anika di aur Sahil ko unke ghar chod kar aayiye"
They 3 sat in the car and waved bye nd drove of. Anika and Shivaay didnt speak anything at the beginning of their drive.
"Toh tumhe gaadi chalana aati hai?" He asked her
"Nahi. Lekin mujhe bike chalana aati hai" she said.
"Kaise?"
"College ki 1st yr main meri ek friend thi jo bike chalati thi. Mujhe bikes aur cars ka bhi bohot shauk hai. Toh maine usse seekhliya. Shayad baad mai mein seekhloongi gaadi chalane. Lekin filal keliye champa😆 hi chalati hun"
"Champa?!".."Haan champa mera scooty ka naam hai"
Shivaay chukled...
"Tumhe sach mein gaadi aur bikes ke shauk hai?"
"Haan kyun. Ab please ye mat kehna ki ye meri aukat nahi hai"
"Nahi aise nahi. Tumhe dekh ke aisa nahi lagta."
"Vaise aapko kaunsa color pasand hai?" She asked him
"Black, aur skyblue"
"Arrey same to same. Mujhe bhi black bohot pasand hai. Uske alava mujhe Red pasand hai."
"Aur vo colour tumhe bohot suit bhi karta hai" he said wid a smile.
"Thanks" she said looking at him. "Aur aap bhi black main bohot accha dikte hai"
The brothers were showing the photo to Dadi. Dadi smiled nd said...
"Yehi Shivaay ki bahu banegi"... "Finally lady baba se chutkara miljayega." Said Rudra happily.
"Main aapse ek sawal poochna chahti hun. Aur vaada kijiye ki aap jhoot nahi bolenge" she said.
"Theeke poocho"
"Kya aapko uss raat jo kuch bhi vo yaad hai?"
Shivaay was not expecting this. He was quiet.
"Kya tumhe yaad hai" he asked her
"Maine pehle poocha toh pehle aap jawab denge"
"Theeke mujhe uss raat ka kuch yaad nahi"
"Kya aap ko kuch bhi yaad nahi?" She asked shocked
"Kuch bhi yaad nahi"
"Jab humne dance kiya paagalon ki tarah. Jab humne ek doosre ko sorry bola. Aur aapne mujhe apni taraf keecha aur kaha tha ki main bohot khoobsurat hoon...
"...aur maine ye bhi kaha ki tum sabse alag ho aur mujhe tumhari himmat bohot pasand hai" he completed. She was gaping at him.
"Aapne toh kaha ki aapko kuch yaad nahi hai" she asked in a angry tone.
"Main ye dekhna chata tha ki kya tumhe sab kuch yaad hai ya nahi. Aur tum toh express train nikli. Sab kich kehdiya. Superb. Itna sharaab peene ki baad bhi tumhe sab yaad thi." He said smirking.
She hit him on his shoulder nd said
"Jhoota. Tum kitne bure ho. Maine pehla poocha tha na. Toh seede seede jawab dete. Bagae billa".she said almost getting pissed of him.
"Tum kina zor se maarti ho." He exclaimed
She hit him again. "Ouch..ok sorry baba...vaise ye batao ye jan na kyun chati thi ki mujhe kuch yaad hai ya nahi"
"Vo bas aise hi."
"Bas aise hi yaa tumhare man mein kuch khayal to nahi" he asked..
"Oh hello Mr.Bagad Billa Oberoi khud ko itna importance mat do ok mere mann main tumhare liye koi pyaar vyaar kuch nahi hai ok. Kuch bhi bolte ho".
"Maine kab kaha ki tumhare mann mein mere liye pyaar hai" he asked looking at her. She was speechless. She just mentally cursed herself "ye maine kya boldiya."
"Bolo na chup kyun ho. Kahin tumhare mann main sach mein..."
"Oh hello mera mann mein kuch nahi. Maine vo sab isiliye kaha taaki aapke mann mein kahin kuch iraada toh nahi"..
"Really...agar aisa ho bhi toh. Kya karogi tum?" He asked her making her drop her jaw open.
"Mujhe koi farak nahi padtha. Apke dil hai. Aapke feelings. Mujhe kya?" She asked and turned towards the window.
She blushed lightly. He just smiled at the way she just tried to show that she was'nt cared a bit.
She thought "Kya sach mein inke dil mein kuch... nahi nahi vo bus aisa hi kehrahe hai". After some time he turnes too her sleeping peacefully.
They reached their destination. Sahil got up from his sleep.
Shivaay went and opened the door of the house. Sahil went in. Shivaay opened Anika's side door. He tried to wake her up. She just clunged to his hand. He gently took her into his arms and carried her inside her home and placed her softly on her bed. He was just admiring her. "Kitna cute lagti hai sote waqt" he thought to himself. He waved a bye to sahil nd returned home.
Shivaay's sleep was robbed of by someone's thoughts. He was thinking of Anika. He remembered hw Sahil said that she was adopted. Hw that bloody bua screamed at her. He felt like killing her for that crime of hers. The crime of hurting his Anika. Wait...what did he just say.."His Anika??" He was confused.
"Kyun main hamesha uske baare main sochta hun. Kyun vo mujhe inte affect karti hai. Kyun main uske aankhon main aasun nahi dekh sakta. Kyun uske saari pareshaani dur karne ka mann kartha hai." He remembers Om's words. Kahin ye pya... no shivaay tumhari guilt ki wajah se main uske baare main soch raha hun." He said and drifted of to sleep.
