Heartbreaking episode but im loving the show

Today was a heart breaking and disturbing episode but I must say I am loving the show.. It is keeping the interest alive.. the characters are so beautifully etched and so multidimentional that its a great watch.

Shivaay is so arrogant and has so much attitude but he is so protective and so correct as an older brother. His concern and love for Om was unmatched today.. people hated the way he behaved with Anika.. but look at it from another perspective ... why was he so violent today .. it was because he saw Omkara lying unconcious in a swimming pool after consuming pills. See is love for his brother.. see how emotionally disturbed Shivaay was seeing Om in the pool

Omkara: so so mature and soulful and emotional.. Gives shivaay advice on how to not let his parents and their problems define him and yet he is so vulnerable and weak.. He knows the ways of the world but is unable to cope with it himself. He is fun loving and a bully when it comes to his brothers yet he is mature and can be the older one when he needs to like when Shivaay was in hospital

Tej: as heartless and ruthless as he is.. as much as he and Omkara have their differences.. he does love his sons. He enjoyed having a meal with them.. their is an obvious discomfort but he still tried.. and he was devastated to see Omkara in the state that he was in..

Jhanvi: She is an alocoholic due to her unhappy married life.. yet she is strong in her own way when she confronts Tej. She doesnt fear him.

I agree. Today's epi has been the best for me till date. It was a mixture of everything and nearly all the characters had screen space.

It was emotionally charged - the best scene being where they find Om's body. That was quite a shocking moment - despite being a drama - it's so hard to even begin to imagine the inner turmoil of children of such parents - it leaves such an aftermath in their lives that they are constantly plagued by it. All the actors were brilliant.

And then Om reciprocating the concern at the end when he knows Shivay could do anything in anger.

Truly proud of Jhanvi today - these women are much stronger than they believe themselves to be. I'm so glad that the pain gave her the courage to stand up to that weasel of a husband of hers in front of everyone.

The characters are shaping up nicely.

I understand what you are saying about Shivay's (manhandling) reaction - but knowing Gul these are a staple of her shows - Nakul is a brilliant actor - his anger could've been expressed in a more mature way. Annika was good too.
