He's a highly educated Moulvi. Though he follows the ancient and written rules of Islam he pretends to be versatile.He has a business in publishing too. He has a wife named Ruksar,she's his childhood friend. He doesn't love her but respects her as his wife a lot. He doesn't have any problem in marrying multiple times. Quite rich he is. He has a frnd named Shiraz who is also a muslim but have a modern way in life.

Ruksar

She's a bubbly kind of girl who loves the idea of love and is in love with her life and husband kabeer. She teaches Qur'an to some girls in her house as it's a noble work she doesn't take money for it. She's Kabeer's best frnd from childhood and loved him since then. She believes that one day Kabeer will love her. A kind hearted girl she is.

Shiraz Khan

Shiraz is a Muslim business man. He has a business of house building he started very low but now he's a big architect. He has a big company and a lot of money. He has a wife named Zara Siddiqui who is very beautiful he loves her very much and treats her as his equal.

Zara Siddiqui

She's an architect in profession. She's a very proud person,respects her husband greatly and works in his company. She's a Muslim woman who lives a modern life with values. She thinks she's in love with her husband.

Ana Khan

She's Shiraz's elder sister's daughter who is 18 years old. After said sister's demise Shiraz adopted her. She's a very stubborn girl and hates Zara as she thinks Zara is trying to create distance between her and her mamu. Secretly loves Kabeer.

All the other characters are like the show just Ruksar is not Zeenat's sister.
