Chapter 4- Cupid Ansh, feelings.
As promised Riddhima had helped Ansh in his studies, at first it was difficult because it was clear that he had understood very little in the class, also she didn't know why but with her he would become an extremely naughty kid, but when Riddhima firmly stated that she will leave from here and will not teach him , he quickly started to listening to her.
She found that he was more interested in drawing and coloring, he would always be scribbling things or painting when he had done his homework or would be drowning in color when there is a school project.
She remembers an incident when had colors all over him and was running behind Riddhima trying to hug her, while running she was looking back and didn't know when she collided with Vansh, she quickly hid behind him.
V- Ansh, why are you troubling Riddhima?
A- I wanted to hug her.
V- Baby, you are covered in color will you like someone hugged you like this.
A- No.
V- Then go take a shower, then you can hug her all you want.
R- Thank you.
Vansh didn't say anything he didn't trust his own feelings, he felt so many things when Riddhima collided with him, and when she accidentally touched his back. Why was God punishing him.
Riddhima herself was overwhelmed by college studies, the movies has all gotten wrong it was not all music, masti and romance. It was hard work, she had fallen asleep in the study. This place was soundproof and no one would distrub her.
Vansh in the morning had came to the study to take his laptop and he found Riddhima asleep there, she looked so beautiful while sleeping as well, the window of the study was open she was getting irritated by the sunlight, he quietly closed the window and took his laptop and went away.
The breakfast was a jovial affair, Ishani Riddhima and Sia were talking about going to the mall, after Riddhima's class was over. Ansh was looking grumpy because he had to eat vegetables. He tried to sneak some vegetables into Riddhima's plate but she would put it back just sneakily.
Ansh had started this new routine he would sleep in Riddhima's room, no matter how much, Vansh scolded him, he would always end up in her room. And sometimes he would drag Vansh there as well, during movie nights.
One night after the movie was over, he looked towards Riddhima, she had fallen asleep on his shoulder, Ansh between them, if someone had seen them, it would look like they are a family. Vansh tried to move but both Riddhima and Ansh snuggled into him.
Riddhima was the first one to wake, she felt awkward and embarrassed that she was sleeping so close to Vansh. She carefully slid out of Vansh's hold. She wouldn't tell this to anyone she secretly considered Vansh to be handsome.
But the more she looked at him, she can see some unknown grief in his eyes. She didn't understand but she knew what she felt was true. He looked lonely as well, and it was ofren the case that he would not even take care of himself. For him it was only his family and Ansh.
In some dark corner of her mind, she selfishly wished that she could become his reason of happiness, or that he would look at her with intense love. She herself didn't know how soon her wish would be fulfilled.
