Tbh, that's the only thing that can save the show. If the story writing is damn good, then the medium wouldn't have mattered. Whether it's on OTT or TV, it would have gotten the ratings.

It's because of bad writing that all this is happening.

But recently the low TRP was the story. Ragini track's climax ruined Vansh character and ever since the writers have been struggling to get Vansh's sharpness back. I their have suffered under COVID restrictions although other shows are shooting outdoor, but I guess since Rrahul got COVID they have been careful. But mainly Colors stopped promoting the show.

Yes! All that damn SS that they gave to AP would have been better utilized in giving it to the other characters, especially Siya. That girl has literally done nothing. Idek what they're going to do with them post OTT. On TV they barely used them right.

Even Ishani for that matter, they haven't really utilized her potential...her expressions are bang on - sexy vamp....I hate her character but she's good. Dadi has done nothing except for calling that weird pandit and no support no policing no nothing.

Angre and Sia - Yes Bhai/Boss bas...isse zyda toh Mishra ho bolne mila tha initially.

This is where the writing was as its best. It only increased later on. It can be the timeslot too. Tbh, Idk the intricate technicalities behind the TRP system. Some say you need a certain box which is only provided by a select number of companies. If this is the case, then it's a really warped system as it's not reflective of the larger audience at all. Then there's also the fact that apparently different channels calculate their TRPs differently. Again, if this is the case then it's another biased system.

There needs to be a better model put in place to determine the longevity of shows.

As for the writing, I'm not saying it's the sole reason for the low TRPs. There very well could be many other factors. My point was that the bad writing contributed to a percentage of the reason why the show became so bad. Idk if it's a budget issue, or maybe it's the COVID scare, but there have been a lot of limitations placed on this show that were disadvantageous to its success. For a show like IMMJ2, it needs freedom to move around not just in space, but in characterization too.

True, Sia has nothing except for that. Even Chanchal, initially, her comic timing was good (added that comedy quotient) but after a point it got plain annoying aur unka bhai...yeh character introduce kyun kara meko abhi tak samjh ni aya.

Ishani, ka pucho matt - she is planning and plotting with a woman who killed her mother, wanted to kill her and her child....how dumb can someone be.
