I don't know for self respect people get character shamed. From the first episode she is getting based by both fandom. There re lot of nasty edits & vm's on her character by both fandom & that is not for 'self respect'. & it was not limited to only revenge track.

& yess a maya got support from rabid fandom only if we talk about actual success which is trp that show didn't get it. & I don't want to debate over that character. She was a slightly upgrade version of ekta's vamp. Ghanta grey she was.
