The Goddess wears anklets on her feet,
Once a mother,now a fighter...
Raktabij is after her dear child,
Let him take thousand births,
Mother's heart cant accept defeat.

Burning coals, she touches wih her feet,
She winces in pain,
Pain, she rembers her vidha, when she was leaving her womb,
endured that pain, coal is nothing...

Burning coals,burning under feet,
Burn my body, cant burn d spirit...
She dances,fights fire with fire,
Destroyer in mother earth,
Only her Shiva stops her wrath...

Got inspired from 8 August episode, tried poetry in English first time.i know I m late, but currently have a backlog of episodes.another silly musing coming out on midnight.keeps me bz.

Joya brilliant it is!! ❤️ I'm glad ur creativity was at its peak to pay tribute to Dhani's motherhood..😳 better late than never!!
google say Mamta means,,

'the one who have psychic power. You can carry on for others with joy. You have a receptive nature and may bear burdens for others. You are pragmatic, thorough, strong-willed, practical and stubborn at times. You are hard working, often martyr to duty. You like home and security above all.You are bold, independent, inquisitive and interested in research. You know what you want and why you want it.'

these lines pay homage to motherhood!! n also Apt fr Dhani's act I guess!!
keep it up Anna,, I'm so proud of u dear,, ur creativity made ths dead forum alive always u come up with something.. Luv U..!!😳

well done for your midnight musings taz.. you are capable of delievering some profound pieces of creative writings... I sense your on passion for the art form of classical dance in your poetry . For starters the very title suggests dance divine in nature. There is a cadence of robust movement .. a laborious pain that a mother has when its young one is theartened by danger. Enjoyed how you used combat imagery.. how a possesed mothers love for her child wages battle with any thing and everything just to ward off an evil eye towards her child. Your poem is a homage to the facilitator of creation a mother thanks much love hammie

Oh Joy, this is beautiful poetry...yes your midnight musing are totally creative...you picked out on a
Very motherly sentiment ...although I thought the creatives made it too dramatic by this, instead of coming up with reasonable / logical. thoughts...but yes, the motherly instinct to help her child by taking extreme steps is evident thru' this.
Thank you & hope you get inspired to come up with more of such poetic thoughts

Wonderful poem.
I didn't think a mother's love could be felt by a girl..but you proved me wrong..you felt it deeply..that's why your words made me emotional.
Allah blesses every mother.

Joya,
though I did not much enjoy the manner in which the writers decided to project a mother's infinite love for her child, I must say that your verse left me enthralled!
Through the lines of this beautiful poem you have likened Dhani to the goddess Durga...She is indeed the embodiment of shakti and the benevolent Mother Goddesss rolled into one. Many a times in this show Viplav has been referred to as Shiva and Dhani his Parvati and you have so well expressed that here too. Only when Viplav arrived did her dance come to a stop!
Your use of religious and mythological imagery to bring out the depth and expanse of a mother's love made this poem all the more special...

Mags ,hi again...annotating ur comment first, as u mentioned d symbolisms,so I want to share my thoughts.I m a Muslim but I have read stories n I do have fascination for mythology.here kali avatar is what I tried to picturize , n when kali doesnt stop after killing raktabij, shiva comes to stop her , n when kali steps on his body, she opens her mouth to protrude her tongue ,like we do when we make mistakes...yes here again I found viplab as shiv came to stop her.
