A do or die situation is when one exerts maximum effort to evade dire consequences. It may be said that such scenarios can take even the frail by surprise! as dormant vigour within them can come to the forefront.. turning the faint hearted into brave heart! For that s what life is all about duck ,dive, dare, dash, disaster! as one rather do and live! than give up and die! Viplav admits his daughter is his life! Dhani too feels the same.. Parshiya has formed a non perishable bond with the little flower fairy. Vidha thus becomes the reconciliatory factor between her parents. Her illness presents a do or die proposition to her parents. They will have to let go of their past misunderstandings, grievances , egos, the I, self, hangovers! and come together in her name, their daughter Vidha! Its up to Viplav and Dhani to do their relationship a favour, or let that Ishq die which they once had..the manifestation of which is before them ..their wilting flower...
Vidha's family ends up in the emergencies consultation room demanding an immediate diagnosis of her condition. Doctor checks her pulse announces it continues to drop. Such statements panic the family even more. The doctor informs them certain tests have to be done to ascertain just what exactly is the problem? In the hotel there are stars in Kamini's eyes as she sees the cosy picture of her Viplav and Atharva chilling in their hotel room. This scene is too good to be true still she tries her luck , suggests they go on holiday and if they like the place ,settle abroad ,would be good for Atharva s education too, besides they can make a fresh start. Cunningly she taunts him there's nothing left here for him , he s seen the way his dadji and Dhani whom he loved the most, have treated him! All they did is betray him! and for them! put his whole life on the line because of dada ji and Dhani! Kamini manipulates Viplav uses his child as a bait to trap Viplav into leaving India once and for all.. Plus attacks with taunts! mocks him, so Viplav ,reacts takes a knee jerk reaction! Packs his bag and is reay to leave! Viplav does , he plays along and lets kamini go! she does stupidly .and announces they ll settle in your Europe and calls for a celebration by dining out. He turns her down , he's not in the mood wants to order dinner in the room.
Suddenly in this hour of dire need a distraught Dulari orders Dhani to inform Viplav his daughters ill and in hospital! Dulari inists.. and Dhani rings him he sends Atharva away and she wants to know where he was? the reference, is he in Mumbai or in Banaras? .. but Viplav is already cut up and he taunts her what does she want with him now? she went ahead and married! took away him his rights of being Vidha's father! in fact she has snatched his daughter from him! she's married now be happy with her husband and don't bother ringing him again!! and before she can get a word edgeways he cuts her call! Kamini is over the moon Viplav has come running back to her!
So what has Vidha got? is the main question? the doctor informs the family he has given her an injection which should revive her, tells the family not to worry too much, she needs to have a few more tests..dulari like an idiot wants to take Vidha home but the doctor explains up until her tests results are not seen, he cannot allow the child be discharged. The doctor explains may be exertion has caused the swoon. Dhani worries , if that is the case ,then by know her child should come around... she fears the worst and the doc says, further investigative tests should give a clearer picture .. Vidha starts to come around and the doctor with the family in tow follow ,where Vidha is kept. The family rallies around her...she attempts to raise herself up but passes out again much to the horror of her mother Dhani! the doctor too is baffled but does outline she needs immediate attention ! so without further delay the monies need to be deposited right away! it's a case of the money or her life! it is a worrying scene and raises questions about how do the under privileged manage treatment for life threatening diseases? Do they sell their belongings? Or do friends and family pool in the monies ?or does the state provide some welfare assistance ?
Seems its raining dear ones who just paying lip service.. Viplav also gets a phone call from his mother she wants too know where he is? his replies are lined with distrust and bitterness after all his mother too kept Tripurari's illegitimacy from him.. and much to his angst she wants him to return, not because she misses him but to reclaim his right to be the heir that Tripurari has usurped . Viplav tells her too he's not interested! Kanak bad mouthes Kamini when he tells her he's with her! viplav tells his mother.. he's not interested in returning to Banaras ,as he washed his hands off them altogether! and coldly like he did to Dhani, he cuts his mother off too! Kamini gives a foxy smile.. that's exactly what she wanted to do! give Tripurari his rights.. for that would leave Viplav high and dry , isolated from Dhani and Dashrant both! surrounded by alienation with no choice but to latch on to her. But Dhani, she still treats as a threat.. and rather innocently she asks Viplav has he really forgotten her? and in a surly tone he replies seems she can't rid her mind off Dhani! try as he may but she keeps mentioning her! Kamini is content now..but Viplav just pushes her off his back.. as really she is the last person.. erhh non entity he is accountable to!
Back at the ICU..it's not only the patient that needs immediate attention and care,in this case its the patients mother.. Dhani too who requires it .she shares she was unable to establish contact with Viplav.. in desperation she tries again.. gets through to of all the people Kamini..who pretends she can't hear due to a bad line and cuts Dhani out of Viplav's life, switches off Viplav's phone ..well fed up with everyone he had given Kamini the choice to switch off his phone !she does just that! Hopefully Dhani can now work out that she rejected Viplav's advances due to Kamini and her son! and this woman without "the milk of human kindness" passed her child s illness away! but Dhani too has by her side, the man Parshiya truly a virtuous knight! who stood by her before and he continues to be like a fortress even now. He assures her he will always be Vidha s babba..Dhani is anxious about the monies but he, tells it'll be arranged he'll manage ..dhani knows he is already under a heavy loan he took for Vidha's birthday ..this is Parshiya s folly so busy he was at that point in time to outdo Viplav that he went overboard with Vidha's party.. it appears he is likely to do the same ,especially since Viplav turned down Dhani ! let's hope he thinks clearly.. but have to say Parshiya is great with words of sincere assurance to the vulnerable mother and daughter ..
Money is needed! things do not bode well..Vidha needs more tests , presumably,CT scan MRI.. and that requires big money! Parshiya has the love for Vidha.. but he lacks the resources ..Viplav happens to be Vidha's father ,her blood! He too lives for Vidha now , but most of all he has the flowing cash to get the best of treatment for her! a happy family?
With Bappa as the judge mother and daughter have distraught words with each other..Bappa remains silent.. best both Dhani and Dulari be given the chance to use their wisdom. If needs be Bappa will intervene as it is, lord Ganpati has set the ball rolling to get Dhani and Viplav back together .. Dulari advices her daughter , with Vidha in hospital , now is the crucial time Dhani should inform Viplav , that Vidha is his daughter! she comments that Viplav must have hang up on her as he was terribly upset about the wedding.. it was hard for him to witness it.. Dulari's motive in saying all this to Dhani is again dubious to me.. is she Dulari being reasonable this time? in recognising that Viplav will easily foot the bill for Vidha's treatment. But dhani acts plain difficult and yet again misses the point that it's her duty to let Viplav know, he is Vidha's father! instead she draws comparsion between him and Parshiya , argues that Parshiya is trying to raise the money.. but this time Dulari yells on her face , but Parshiya will not be able to raise such a huge amount ! Dulari actually now panics as she can see that she may be to blame for Dhani's unreasonably attitude ..mind you Dhani too has a point to contact Viplav just for money is beneath her dignity..Dulari shouts but it's not about her it's about Vidha! Besides if anything were to happen to Vidha all the blame will fall on Dhani as Viplav will rightfully say , why didn't she inform him! could this issue of accepting money for Vidha's treatment become a stumbling block between Dhani and Viplav again? it's really in Dhani's hands ,unless Bappa has his own mysterious ways?
Desperation grows, Dulari was right Parshiya could only make up a small deposit which he secures at reception..dhani panics she'll sell her jewellery . Parshiya was not having! it he feels his position challenged ,as a husband who cannot make urgent provisions for family in an emergency situation. Overall he feels inadequate ,but Dhani empowers him with the obvious truth that he has acted as Vidha's father ,which in itself speaks a lot. Parshiya too confirms he will be Vidha's babba forever and she cannot come between them even if she wanted.
Vidha's papa though ends up in the street where Vidha lives. He did tell her he'll be back to see her , so here he's back. Balloons catch his eye, flower fairy loves colourful balloons he buys some for her ..an orange one symbolizing her mother and a white one that tells of the purity of their love. With the balloons in his hand he drifts off towards Bappa's statue and shares, not wanting to, his feet have yet again brought him here, whether its right or not ?He knows not ? All he knows is he cannot suppress his desire to meet Vidha..my daughter is my life! Dhani speaks to her unconscious child.. Coaxes her to wake up, she'll never tell her off , has lots to tell her.. Dhani weeps at her daughters bed side.. Viplav's need is felt she phones him again , but his number is on mute. What luck! Bappa acts mysteriously, its beyond the understanding of mortals! Parshiya's friend bumps into Viplav, tells him Dhani and Parshiya are away. Viplav clarifies it's not them he wants ,its Vidha. Pakiya breaks the news that both Kamini tried to block! and Dhani is desperate to relay to him.. Pakhiya informs Viplav swooned and had to be rushed to city hospital! Viplav makes a beeline for the hospital! Dhani at the hospital is called by the doctor, told its not looking good, although further tests results after forty eight hours will reveal more about Vidha's illness.. But based on their observations, its seems Vidha's case shows up many complications.. Dhani is gob smacked!
Vidha's illness is symbolic of a life threatening disease which if not treated in time can prove fatal for Ishq .. for Dhani and Viplav it's an emotional failing a deficiency that showed up five years ago when Dhani walked out on Viplav and he wonders to this day whatever for? Both of them felt the twitches of the illness but kept the symptoms suppressed thinking that they would heal with the passage of time. But with the passage of time and moving on in life attitude, the symptoms of their infirmed Ishq ! surfaces with dangerous levels. Now they both have no other choice but to get themselves seen, assessed , and treated .. the treatment is seeing the symbol of their love in pain.. hamlet53 8.8.16
