I agree, Anjali! Viewers that don't have access to the Internet wouldn't have known that Mishal had "left" the show. Viplav was absent from the scene, but still a part of the show. I too feel that post leap the TRPs are for the characters and not the actors. They may rise if Viplav and Dhani unite. I think people are tired of seeing them bicker and not resolve their issues. Even then, I doubt it'd be a drastic increase.

I don't understand the formula either, Anjali. Mishal and Sanjeeda are both very good looking, so wouldn't that have already helped the TRPs? Sanjeeda's also a very big name. I don't think her entry did anything for the show TRP wise.
