When I watch Mishal act this way, wonder if Mishal & Viplav are the same ...it never looks like he is acting, seems natural. I am just short on words to describe it. Maybe you Hammie can explain it best. he is terribly disciplined in what he gives, not more not less, just right... uses body expression ,espically the eyes in emoting sentiments.. plus his dialogue delievry shows great clarity

As Viplav's eyes swelled with ( happy) tears for Dhani, mine did for this amazing actor MIshal.

You could see a whole range range of emotions all at that one moment & only he can do that so perfectly. Just WOW!

in Laagi I have seen him hold tears in his eyes with out spilling them!

Also loved Dhani's daydream sequence at the party... You know, I thought this was funny... Dhani daydreaming of romancing with her husband in a public gathering. Oh my!, this is not the same Dhani is she??? She has come a long way & all grown up now, thanks to dear Vip& their daily dose of romance.
have to say.. mishal looked very suave.. elegant and sleak not bulky and pumped up...

We all know what happens after.

I completely agree with u on these two bold lines of urs...especially the second one...i remember after JMM2 when tasha returnd Patil Wadi and kala suds true colours were revealed, Dutta pointed the gun towards Kala,with tears in his eyes without spilling them, as u said...still unable to believe that his dear sis can be his biggest enemy...MR had showed a wide range of expressions in laagi that is because dutta was not at all a talkative person...

his eyes used to speak more..in many tasha scenes, we got to see only mishal and mahi staring at each other, their eyes speaking with each other...Naku's innocent eyes and dutta's deep deep eyes with lots of love and care for the one who turned a beast into a human .

yes.. barbs.. but watch carefully he was minddful... in his rage not to include the cold blooded fury of Dutta... yes Viplav was very very angry... but the killer gut of Dutta was missing... I spotted it

Hammie the episode is so appropriately titled by you with the emphasis on dressing.

As you well explain in your first para that clothing at the start of civilization was simply a covering from harsh weather which then evolved into vanity and a statement of influence and class. Clothing has become a covering were wolves hide under silk or vixens under lace . Its what you are judged with and a tool for seduction. The focus on clothing rather than the person under it was very prominent.

The episode starts with Kamini dressing up conservative , very much like Dhani , the dressing which Viplav likes on his wife , rushes to make Dhani change her dress convincing her that she is the star of the evening and should dress appropriately . A provocative , sexy black lace is suggested and dorned by an unsuspecting Dhani who has no clue of the game being played with her. What was Kamini's real purpose to do this ? To make her look more "available" ? Does dhe herself not dress in a similar manner. Using exterior looks to catch someone's attention is what Kamini believes in. How misguided is she ?

Now the best scene of the day - Viplav along with Raj meets the teacher at the night school who shows him the copy of Dhani's writing and praises her hard work . Disarmed , his anger and worry turns into tears at the thought of his wife's sweet lies .Her love for him and only him ..he turns his head to see her at her desk spelling his name ,and then at the blackboard ...with her innocent smile telling him that she wanted to surprise him..visions of her engulf him . He is ashamed of the assumptions he made and in his happiness embraces Raj. A simple short scene but done extremely tastefully. Dhani all innocence learning her spelling and Mishal taking the scene to the next level , him overwhelmed with love for her. Clap worthy scene.

The family proceeds to the Asthana party when DT wishes to get off for an errand . The ladies are well received by the judge and Kamini the enabler propels Asthana in the direction of Dhani to lure her to his private abode . She purposefully unties the strings of her top to lead the way for Dhani's ruin. DT in the meantime seems to be on the road to his ruin ..stealing in his own house of the daan received for the mandir. Where will lust for "owning" lead the likes of DT or Kamini ? When will the clothings they wear covering their dirty deeds be uncovered. What is shiny and alluring is not deep ..will they ever get it.

A good episode highlighting the importance of our society judging people by their surface .
