As the current track plays out?
Today's episode brought to mind this important question...
What is it that we as viewers expect at this critical juncture of IKRS and the ViDha sojourn?
So here goes...
Would like to rewind to a fortnight back when the whole 'realisation' piece started unfolding...
Me felt that Viplav's realisation was rushed...was kinda half-baked...for an emotion so strong; required some hesitancy...some conflict...some disbelief...and then, the SUPREME bliss of 'realisation'!
The week or more that followed kinda made up for it...
It was sheer DELIGHT to watch the changed dynamic of the new LOVELORN Viplav...Mishal has made it so completely BELIEVABLE!👏
And to lend august company was our UNDERSTATED Dhani, with several new aspects to her personality...some confusion...some distraction; but the 'distance' intact! Eisha has measured up and how!👏
THEN THERE WAS THE TURNING POINT
And, what a turning point it was...
Kudos to the makers for not treading the beaten and may I add easy path...
ABSOLUTELY LOVED SEEING THE IKRS CORE REMAIN INTACT
Now that we have embarked on the "ehsaas" bandwagon, what's in store, friends?
So what then am I looking forward to...before the obvious happens?
1. A toned down pace for starters:
- The CVs have to give us time to savour the current ongoings and absorb the change in the ViDha dynamic. It's important for the makers to understand that it was just a little over 2 weeks ago that Viplav and Dhani's equation had hit rock bottom or so they thought...and Dhani is already considering RL's ludicrous suggestion of match-making with Viplav!😆
2. Unfolding newer facets of Viplav and Dhani's 'fabric':
- It was Viplav and Dhani's layered characterization that was the first thing about IKRS that drew me towards it. It has been such an absolute pleasure to see so many shades...so many nuances of Viplav unfold. Wish to experience the same with Dhani as well...totally love her grounded persona...it's the perfect foil for Viplav's exuberance. Would like to watch the turmoil unfold in Dhani and this turmoil rubbing off on Viplav. Would be a HISTRIONIC treat to the eyes given Mishal and Eisha's capabilities!⭐️
3. Dhani's choice in the matter:
- This is probably the crux of it all...
- Guess we are at Level 1 currently, when Viplav has very rightly pointed out that it is imperative for Dhani to believe him...believe his love AND the intensity of it! Realisation of Viplav's love will obviously be the all important catalyst, BUT, Dhani made the most important point yesterday...her choice in the matter!
- Dhani cannot love Viplav back because Viplav loves Dhani. That would be trivializing the depth of Viplav's love for Dhani.
- Dhani's love for Viplav has to be her own...completely her own; just like Viplav's love for Dhani...
As Viplav beautifully put it yesterday "Ab bahut der ho chooki hai...main toh Dhani se pyar kar chooka hoon...meri zindagi ab adhoori hai uske bina!"
What a SIMPLE yet IMPACTFUL description of the feeling of unconditional love!

4. Dhani's past and its criticality:
- Needs a lot of investment, this, and its seamless incorporation into the ViDha dynamic. The scars of Dhani's past are deep-rooted and entrenched in her consciousness.
- Would LOVE to see the sensitivity and depth of Viplav's character not just understand this, but help Dhani make peace with her past
- Dhani needs closure on several fronts...her deep-rooted fears on the 'stigma' of being a widow are probably just one of them!
These are my thoughts, friends...
Needless to add, as always, would love to know everybody else's too...
