Auspicious opening of the episode dadi on holy ground with sincerity of heart wants a chunni made with much love to blessed for her Viplav's bride. A good woman shares her concerns and tenders her prayers to lord Krishna that he may send a girl befitting Viplav, in his life soon. A worthy pandit is one who supports a devotee in their prayers and mediates to the deity on their behalf . He strengths dadi's faith and says fear not, this chunari will.. by god's will on the head of the girl destined for Viplav.. Compare this pandit's devotion to the feigned faade faith of Dashrant.
Shalu offering Dhani her once worn, nearly new clothes to wear at the occasion , as they didn't fit her anymore is an act without malice as she shows genuine care and willingness to share.. however Kanak comes and deliberately makes the widows feel small by reiterating that shula is giving Dhani her cast offs! . Alongside she calls her only daughter malicious names regards her obesity. Dulari feels the bite, and I suppose her hate for Viplav doubles up as she notes ,all of Viplav's family are anti Dhani his sister and mother give her a sample!
Rajlaxmi is the runner between the girl and boys family. She is given the esteemed job of taking the red chunari over to Dhani and Dulari, that to be used ceremoniously. The chunari symbolizes the ownership ,protection, and guard of honour from the groom's side for the bride. Rajlaxmi comes across Tripurari and gets to straight to the point, was he happy with this marriage ? he laughs and Rajlaxmi throws in ,it's Vikal babu who is wondering if Dhani is happy? rajlaxmi admits ,is her motive is to the throw tripurari off guard? it's Suvarna she really wants to quiz him about..of course the two timing low life denies it and Rajlaxmi's feelers are ready to pick up signals, he plays the dumb game and Raj laxmi too leads him on, strange Suvarna vanished without letting anyone at the Ashram know? she used to meet him? odd after hearing about his and Dhani's wedding she disappeared ? what could have happened? she asks Tripurari innocently.. who half-jokingly, says yes met her ages ago.Hopes she doesn't suspect him for Suvarna's disappearance..? raji laxmi says not all, she just thought maybe he knew the name of the man ,who she could have gone with?To me Rajlaxmi has indicated to him that Dhani and her, are anxious about Suvarna's disappearance .Also Viplav as well querying about Dhani will about her marriage.. Raj laxmi has left him in a fluster no doubt as he curses himself for his wild passing so called love fling with that Suvarna! whose whereabouts he knows not ? well if this is not punishment then what is? of course he lives in his own world of worming his way into Dashrant's kingdom..
Where Tripurari gets ready for the ceremony ,dadi puts her chunari before the statue of lord Shiva in the house... rajilaxmi comes over with the chunari from Tripurari's family and puts it before the deity's statue, beside dadi's chunari.. lord Shiva watches all silently and knows the heart, minds and souls of all... Dhani comes down the stairs in the pistachio green sari..it's Viplav who sees her first from outside.. then Tripurari comes over, and Viplav walks away and Tripurari folds his arms across his chest to show his victory over Viplav ..
Dhani sits as an object of attention.. it's the Ashram widows family that look most joyous. Shalu and Kanak too watch Dulari fussing over her daughter.. as the gods will it it's Viplav's mother who picks the simpleton but goodhearted shaluout of Viplav's household is chosen to get the Durga's chunari... lord Shiva watches silently , but sends his wisdom into the seemingly unwise and dim witted shalu.. who chooses the chunari dadi had blessed from the mandir specifically for the girl destined to be her darling Viplav's, soon to be bride!
Viplav wants to be actively involved and allowed to participate in Dhani's wedding too like his dada ji.. of course Dashrant agrees and grants Viplav this small indulgence as Dashrant believes ,this is great news as Viplav will unload this baggage of Dhani desperation.. and then fly off to Boston! Thus none can now uproot his plans.. in fact he gives money to Viplav as a gift ,saying Viplav will need..
There in the beginning of the ceremony..its Kanak, Viplavs mother who puts the blessed chunari on Dhani's head.. as lord Shiva wills it! Dhani is destined to be Viplav's wife as dadi wants it, Viplav wants it but is unaware of what exactly he feels for his friend? dadi sees her chunari and is speechless to find out it's ended up on Dhani's head..raj laxmi points out it's not the one sent by Durga,it's someone else is.. Kanak is confused.. Dulari I bet thinks this is an inauspicious act.. little does she know this chunari will save Dhani from unseen harm? Dadi smiles and owns up, it belongs to her.. Dhani is slightly worried..shalu gets another mouthful of personally degrading remarks by her..mother who tells her to get the right chunari.. but such is Dashrant's ill luck that he cannot separate two controversial adversaries from agreeing upon a good thing .. Durga arrives and says makes no difference if it's from Sushma or her..as Sushma too loves Dhani as much as she does!
The ceremony takes place and Durga assures Dulari that she can imagine Dhani's situation. .durga knows this all too well as she is kept at arm's length by Dashrant's family ,as being the other unspoken woman. She tells Dulari as off now, Dhani is like our daughter, their responsibility and they are aware that they couldn't have found a better girl to be Tripurari's wife..irony.. Dhani couldn't have found another man worse than Tripurari! Dulari will cry for the rest of her life.. Dhani also touches Kanak's feet and she too has too bless Dhani.. may the vermillion always stay in her parting! may she be happy all her life with Tripurari..and god help babu ji for taking the big responsibility of organising her wedding.. Kanak is un aware that her son too is giving a helping hand in Dhani's wedding..
Dulari arranges a trip to the temple between Tripurari and Dhani. for blessings from holy man.. Dulari pushing the two together away from all.. spend quality time.. Dulari and her crocodile tears.. as long as that Viplav is banished from her daughter's life .she is prepared to push her daughter in hell.. Kanak only bad mouths her daughter! but Dulari blatantly forces her daughter into marriage!
Suvarna terribly poorly, begs bijli to let her go to ashram ,but bijili reminds her that tripurai is looking for her like a rabid dog! Some man casts lewd looks on Suvarna and later informs someone about Suvarna's where about..bijli overhears him, and I suspect she will move Suvarna? Is this man working for Tripurari?
My mind cannot accept Raj laxmi has her eye on Viplav? she is playing her own little game..drifts into his room only to be shunted out by Kanak's biting words and manner! Raj laxmi actually tells Dhani about Viplav 'mother's two timing sweet tongue before her father in law, and a sharp tooth talker! to people behind his back! she is so changeable.. full of guile Dhani says forget about her ,has she thought about Suvarna rajlaxmi says what about her she's got tri...she stops her slip of the tongue! She must have gone for tirj pilgrimage ,she'll return when it's over.. does Raj laxmi want Dhani to marry Tripurari... so her way is clear to win Viplav over??
Viplav busy organizing the flower decorations outside the entrance of the house.. to correct the decorations Viplav raises his foot, to step inside the house.. Tripurari stops his action.. stop! he cant go into the house one step forward and he'll defy Mahadev's decree! Viplav stops, steps back outside the threshold and Tripurari haughtily by passes him ,steps into the house while Viplav stays standing outside..
ceremonially it was worthwhile.. especially moments when auspicious things happen that symbolize vidha's union.. tripurari is drunk with power! a complete and utter upstart.. while viplav honors his friend's wedding..its interesting to see how viplav' immediate family end up marking up what Viplav would have wanted ? raji laxmi scene Iiked.. hamlet53 25.11. 15
Precap Dhani tries to reach the mandir bells.. Tripurari lifts her up as Viplav watches, her chunni blows off from her head and blows on to viplav's head!
