The episode is about how people can manipulate situations and misuse their position. The matriarchical figure i.e the role of the mother is exposed . Kanak is the mother of a young man .The son Viplav honours her and why wouldn't he ?A mother is a revered figure not just in society but in world faiths too. She is maternal, caring and will do what not for the welfare and happiness of her child. Above all she is trustworthy and giving.. The episode shows three mothers, Kanak , Durga and Dulari.. all bar Viplav's mother Kanak ,have "the milk of human kindness " within them.. Kanak , is not true to her son in this episode .. she perpetrates a premeditated act that of teaching Dhani a lesson and she certainly goes ahead and does it. but then she turns the table around on Viplav and talks about his misdeeds and the picture .. luckily a picture saves the day for him.. but now Kanak in action..
The demon possessed banshee Kanak continues savagely to pull and tug Dhani's sari before an audience of both men and women. The spectators are spell bound and are glued to the ground they stand upon. In such instances why do humans stand and watch as if the animal instinct of seeing a prey being ravaged in a pack triggers off some primitive instinct .. the smell of a killing underway? Well Kanak is no lady of the manor she has been transformed into a were wolf spurred on by desire to taste blood! Dhani's honour is being torn to bits before all! this is a criminal assault along with emotional abuse of the severest degree. Have to laud Dhani's strength, as she challenges the harridan Kanak, I have honour too? Kanak is going to chew her alive.. what honour do you lot have? take your sari off! she barks in Dhani's face as Dhani looks around hysterically for help..
Viplav sits in the ashram and Dulari asks him , any news about the case? before he could ,answer his phone beeps and he pulls his phone out and he receives a video of Dhani being publically disgraced by his mother.. disturbed he gets up to move away from Dulari ,not wanting her to see.. this scene corresponds with the one where Tripurari sends the infamous Viplav Dhani picture to Kanak.. and she hides the picture from, tejasawani .. Tripurari does the same here ..sends the video over to dear Viplav to show him what his respectable mother is doing to his Dhani.. Tripuri it appears, only stirs trouble between this household.. he shoots poisoned darts here and there amongst all this way and that! it's his modis operandi to serve dashrants family like a menial when beneath the surface he masterfully stirs discord within the family! Viplav is both disturbed and perplexed , Dulari notices he looks anxious and asks him the reason and then he rushes off leaving a confused Dulari.
Kanak finally gets hold of Dhani's pallu ready to pull it off ,when a hand falls and grips kanaks arm.. and then releases Dhani's pallu who pulls it back and covers her head. Dhani's saviour is not a man but another woman Durga Tripurari's mother.. she yells at Kanak being a woman you are defiling the honour of another wowan? aren't you even a little bit ashamed of yourself? you too are a woman,you should realize that for a woman her honour and virtue is everything for her! besides you have no right to denounce anyone! Before all you are trying to pull an innocent girls sari off! if not as a woman ,at least consider her as a human being ..try to respect a woman's honour.. all this while listens to durga with a mocking smile and then replies.. this is brilliant! take a look whose come to protect this girl! who is a deceit wicked cheap girl you are feeling sorry for her? I understand very well! why you side with her both are two peas in a pod !tripursri fumes away at Kanak but more so with his mother.. Kanak shouts ,take a good look at these two! these are two faced people of society , during the day they keep a low profile doing social service ,but during night fall they carry out deeds that stigmatize them! and you are trying to teach mr Kanak tirpathti a lesson of humanity ? and in anger Durga raises her hand to strike her but Kanak grabs her arm and points her finger in Durga's face don't you dare to call me daughter in law! whose daughterin law , you call me daughter rin law one more time and I'll pull your tongue out of your gullet! she screams and Tripurari quickly intervenes and stands between the two women kanaks eyes pops out like a witch! tripurai rebukes his mother what are you doing amma.? Let's leave now he pulls her.. Kanak watches them leave and yells behind her, cheap tat of a woman trying to teach Kanak triparthi!... Dhani looks confused as to the relationship between these three people, Durga takes a terribly shaken Dhani with her and gives her water and clams her down asks her name.. Tripurari tells his mother off what were you trying to be some lady constable?whats the point of doing all this? what was the need to fight with the second mistressof the house? don't you get it? no matter what greatness we do we';ll still be considered out siders! His mother tells him off ,shut up you stood their watching an inncoent gir be dishnoured you were there you should have done something to stop it and you call your self a man? .dhani says she reminds her own mother ,and durga replies ,you too are like my own daughter.. Durga wants to know where Dhani lives ,Dhani says she'll make her own way home.. but Durga inists that her son would drop her home ,but durga notices Tripurari had gone!
Kanak returns home as if nothing had happened.. Viplav stop her ..mother,he glares at her and moves towards her. how can you be so cruel? You insulted Dhani before all? whos Dhani? The widow from the ashram that you disgraced not so long ago... Kanak puts on an act.. who told you? Viplav growls who told me or not is besides the point! The point is why did you behave that way? Kanak becomes defiant,.yes I insulted her ,disgraced her! what else is a mother supposed to do? you won't understand why I did whst I did? dis you ever think that due to your disgraceful act what I am going through? Here my dsughter is getting engaged and there my own son is caught having fun with some widow! a mother is so insulted when a mother looks at the news paper and finds out this photograph of yours ?people are looking at this and spitting on us! hsave you ever stop to think how my heart fells then? have you got an answer for this?
The local paan wala too looks at the picture of Viplav with a widow under him..and he makes a rude pass at Suvarna ..indarini and Dulari tell him off for his lewd remark and Dulari has a stiff wordwith him. we widows too have respect and honour. But he continues to talk eubbish and dulsari is about to stone him when he shows her the newspaper and she is horrified and storms bck to the ashram raving and rnting for Dhani .. then she questions Suvarna who recalls how it was tripurai who arranged this job at themndir for Dhani and her.. Suvarna reported I asked Dhani to wit while I went to find the man who had arranged for the .. sheasaysi told Dhani to stay at one point.. but when I returned Dhani was not there.. I assumed she had come home.. all panic.. ! Suvarna is gullible ..
Kanak continues , look people don't look for the headline, they look at the picture! she feigns people will say look on the day ohis engagement , Viplav was loitering about on the river banks with that widow! oohhh viplsv ,wy did you this? why did yiu do such a thing. you know you broke eevery one's heart vilkav ,your ddji is so ashamed those people who dsrent look us in the eye now hardly talk to us . they are spitting on us mocking us vpilav yoiur dada ji worked hard to earn a good name and because of hat widow you washed off you dada jis good name! Viplav shouts it's all a mistake you are misunderstanding!
the whole thing! why won't you people believe me ?viplav I talked to you about married and you broke the engagement! After that you messed anbout with that widow and created the second misunderstanding and she leaves with her waterworks and leaves the room.. but Viplav follows to her room and says,iknow I have hurt all of you.. I ssk yiur forgiveness infact from all ofyou. But you people are misunderstanding! Tell me one thing. did I come and tell you I dont want to do this engagement? I said it clearly and inspite of that you lrt it happen! now tell me what was Dhani's fault that you picked on her and disgraced her in the market square? Don't you think you need to apologize to her? Kanak feings ,I don't know hat you are talking about ? I only went to ask that girl...and viplav pulls out his phone and shows her the video and Viplav says ,this is what you went to say to her.. Kanak is tongue tied and she muses, this hs o tripursri's doing but him I'll deal with later. thenshe cries more feign tears and says you are doing very well by asking your ,mother questions and what's more am I too be answerable to you as well?.. I 'll tell you I did this for .you Viplav You know Tania's' mum the she spoke to dada ji and me in such a mnner that I lost my mental equilibrium couldn't sleep all night and then this morning .Then I saw your photo I the papers I became very stressed.. Viplav reiterated but it was a misunderstanding mother.. and Kanak says , no I thought I must meet that girl just this once.. due to whom this whole problem begun.. now tell me what wrong did we do? now if you won't go and apologize to that girl than I will have to do it on your behalf.. to apologize is a big issue for the tripsathi's ..it was viplv apologizing to the widow at the police station that prompted Dashrant;s hate campaign against the widows.. to ask for pardon means to the tripathis being subservient.. and he stands up with a scowl on his face , Kanak grabs his arm and says , forgive me Viplav! I admit I hid the engagement issue from you.. I told a lie to you iam guilty I admit.. but tell me Viplav,what should have done/??now is this kanak for real or fake? and now forgive me .. and he nods his head with a smile ,holds her hands and still empowers her by saying.. yes I got waylaid didn't I ? and he turns and walks past his dadi who asks much confused , why is going to apologize? and a relived Kanak wipes her tears and whinges.. you people don't live in this house and she throws the newspaper? I couldn't figure out how to get him back on the rightrack? That's why I did.. and looks at them and says read and look at it
Viplav is on his way to Dhani's ashram to apologize gets a phone call it's Inderani phones Viplav and asks if Dhani was with him and he says no and she says if she's not with you then where is she? says if Dhani doesn't return than she'll have to inform the police... but viplav says don't worry I'll search for her and bring her back .. Viplav has her FB where she says whatever;s happened it's all because of you. now I have no other option but to take my own life.. Viplav worries dear god hope this mad girl doesn't take her own life! please save that mad girl dear god! he gets to the devi maa's temple and looks around especially the steps leading to the edge of the waters.. where he found her the previous night.. disappointed he looked around .. he reckoned where else she would be .. he took his shoes off climbed the steps and then spotted her.. he looked.. sighed in relief and then just stared down at her in silence.. she sat huddled up in her white sari, pallu on her dishevelled hair; her back rested against the temple pillar; knees pulled up with insecurity .. she turns her head silently, sees a pair of feet and jean clad long legs..slowly her eyes move up his legs , slides up to see two hands resting on his his waist in defiance, and then all the way to his slightly tilted head.. he looked angry as she looked at his face innocently.. he looked at her with sided eyes and his nostrils flared slightly as he moved his head sideways and rolled his eyes angrily.. then she to moved her head and rested it against the pillar, he moved his head and stared down at her with hooded eyes .. at her profile in utter silence.. thanks heavens the mad girl is alive.. the beauty of this scene is that she thinks he knows not what transpired with her.. but Viplav knows.
The episode showed us more of Durga and the first scene of Viplav with his mamma.. she loves him so much..and he despite all still honors his mother..
precap: Viplav pleads I admit my mistake that's why I come here .. she faces him and boldly tells him there's no need to apologize on behalf of your mother.. because she is not the one at fault it's you who are at fault! you are the root cause to this whole problem! and by your apolgy ,my honour cannot be return! that was stripped before all in the market! And if yu do ant to do something! than make a promise to me.. that you'll never return in my life!
