Hi AY... Nice to see U here. I've been mostly a silent stalker of the posts in ur other regular forum and in fact did reply and quote a few in the past. As that ship has started to sail, I have been looking around for something new and this one caught my eye. I haven't yet caught up with the episodes but am very keen to start.

The other one being such a light breather, it did captivate my attention and what not, for a long time. I'm not completely sure, how this one is gonna turn out- looks good. I, in fact like the ML- didn't think he was an instantaneous eye candy, but something about him makes me want to come back for more 😉.

And I've developed a bad habit of peeping into the forum to see if there is anyone familiar (may I kindly add, w/o offending anyone- SENSIBLY and MATURELY familiar 😊), so that I can jump in and share my views.

Good to see U here...!!! And hope to see U, whenever I happen to peek in 😉!!

Oh hey, good to see you here too :) I do remember you posting sometimes in the KY2 threads...welcome to this forum :)

Haha this is the totally other end of the spectrum from KY2😆...but I watch all kinds of shows for various reasons😆...as long as execution is watchable...which I feel it is so far...I'm a fan of the ML from before so I have extra motivation to watch it for him😆...and he isn't disappointing me so far...the new girl isn't doing a bad job either for a newbie...I see some potential in her.

The show, despite having a lot of melodrama and cliches otherwise somehow retains a strand of irreverence so doesn't repel me😆

Feel free to post your reviews anytime too! 😊

Coz he wasn't aware that he is the reason behind society attackink her, and the ashram. Now if he apologizes, this will be a true one, not just to please his grandmom.

Oh good point👍🏼 Circumstances have changed now and he feels genuine regret for having landed Dhaani in trouble so now the intention to apologize is coming from a more genuine place and not just forcibly at his grandma's request.

That being said, I have a feeling Dhaani will manage to irritate him again and he will stomp off in anger, forgetting his apology😆...cuz he still thinks of her as a nakchadhi vidhwaa😆

Hey Anu.. Wat a Surprise !!!! Happy to see yu following IKRS.. will surely visit forum to read yur reviews from now.. As yu said in yur post these are some that saves the show from being fully melodramatic.. I dont kno if am only the one who feels some shades of Great Mohan Bhatnagar in viplav !! Or may be i am thinking too much out of love for our Mohan. Anyways wud love to see transition of viplav in the comig episodes...

Oh heyy! haha generally I see a lot of familiar faces from LTL forum here...nice to see some old NBT ppl showing up too😆

Ohh you find Mohan in Viplav? That's a new one😆...I guess the carefree/brusque traits are making you think that? But Mohan was sorted about his priorities in life...which Viplav isn't...and Mohan was never a spoilt brat😆

yeah ..tripurari's dialogue was the best ..as of now dadaji shows that he has sympathy for everyone ,for widows too..dadaji being jagatguru means he has to accept a vidhawa getting remarried to his beloved prince viplav..to maintain naive image in society ..it will be nice to see how tripurari indirectly helps to viplav to feet married with dhani and eventually he might feel victorious over dadaji ..I guess tripurari is thinking that if viplav married to a widow then dadaji might kick out viplav from haveli ,and later he might get in charge of being next mahant..

viplav is really sidha sadha ..that's why he looks innocent and cute ..he never does anything intentionally ..he even not troubled dhani to get arrested her but he was just playing a prank with her..

tightly said ..now the ball is in dhani's court ..she is feeling guilty as his watch has been sold ..dadaji will reprimand widows for this ? let's see..

I'm not sure if Tripurari (Let's just call him Trip for easy reference😆) is thinking that far...at the moment, he's just amused by Viplav playing knight in shining armor to a widow and how it makes life difficult for DT...Viplav isn't yet giving off the impression that he's attracted to Dhaani so I'm not sure if Trip is trying to stoke any love story just yet.

There is still some time for that.

I'm also intrigued to see how the watch issue gets resolved...maybe Indraani and Dhaani will try to get it back from the shopkeeper or try to find some other way to repay Viplav for the cost of the watch...given how super honest Dhaani is, doesn't seem like she'll be able to bear the thought that Viplav's watch was stolen and sold from the aashram.

Tab Dadaji kya karenge?😆

Tripurari mazey le raha hai side pe at his step-nephew's antics😆

@bold: Bingo...the boy does have a mind of his own and he asserts it at the end of the day no matter how many ppl try to sway him...this proves that when he sets his mind to something, he will go for it, come hell or high water.

Dadaji will have tough time, trying to influence Viplav in whatever manner he can, keeping his saint profile. 😆
btw, I am Minakshi. 😊

Hahaha, you are right.
The show, with all its melodramatic and serious angles, is surprisingly lighthearted at times. Even tonight, with all the dramatic bits, the episode was rather light which makes it watchable for now.
Viplav is such a Libran tbh. Librans have this thing where they are acutely aware of unfairness but despise confrontations to an extent that they will do anything to avoid it. Viplav strikes me as someone who genuinely hates conflict and wants to just have fun and enjoy his life without being bogged down by heavy stuff. I wouldn't say he is not aware about things but he doesn't let it bother him. Is it an escapist attitude? Of course. But is its relatable? Definitely.
I am kind of sick of seeing male characters angry for no reason, vicious to women for no reason or overprotective in teen shows for no reason. Like be a real man. Act like how a guy in his twenties is supposed to act like. Tbh, most guys in his twenties will resemble a Viplav than someone like a Manik or Armaan or ASR etc. I genuinely like his character so far. He is super endearing when he wants to be. Mishal has only played characters who have been larger than life, even Akash with his Naxalite tendencies as implied by Basu, was so angry and bitter that he never had the chance to be an actual boy. Viplav, on the other hand, is a spoilt young boy with proper boyish charm and it's amusing to see how well Mishal is pulling it off.
Eisha, is growing on me as well. She is screechy but her expressions are subtle. I like how you pointed out the reluctant crusader in Viplav. He is someone who would rather not get into a conflict but he also is earnest to a fault. A pretty good male character so far.

LOL you have to make it a Manik comparison, don't you? Still have some leftover resentment about him? 😆

Anyways I do agree that Viplav is a refreshing change from the usual brooding characters for male leads on TV...MR himself has done some of his best work playing brooding angsty guys only...both Dutta and Aakash had a core of simmering anger always ready to burst out...but Viplav is definitely different from that...

Escapism is the core principal of the current generation...they'd rather avoid facing unpleasant ground realities even if they may acknowledge them from time to time but no one wants to get into a mess...so Viplav is realistic that way, true...which is why even though he was pulling childish tricks in the first week, I wasn't offended by his character...MR somehow made it believable.

Agree about Eisha's subtle expressions...I think she's done a decent job of picking up the diction and accent too but yeah could deffo use more polish.

Viplav is a work in progress...I think he might become more angsty based on circumstances as his equation with Dhaani develops.

^^ Lol I am sorry but I cannot explain how I hated that show and Manik after a point. He annoyed the hell out of me. But teen heroes generally do, so yeah. :/
Yes to everything you said. His boyishness is char din ki chaandni only but I find myself hoping it would last a while longer. He is way too endearing lol.

LOL wow such extreme hatred you have for him😆 I don't think he was the typical teen hero...still written better than a majority of the male leads on TV...but anyways we won't get into that given your intense hatred for him😆

Coming back to Viplav...it's possible they may do a balancing act b/w his angsty and lighthearted shades...let's see.
