I will be honest here, I was cringing through the promos of the show and at the horrible thought that Mishal will be in this show. The standard of TV is so effin low lately that I couldn't even be annoyed that he had to take this up. I mean how long can a talented guy like him just sit around without acting? I mean yeah, he is effin rich and everything but he genuinely enjoys acting so I didn't even know how to feel. So I had to watch a few episodes in any case and for now, he has got me lol.

But now that I have watched the last few episodes, I surprisingly.. don't hate the show. Yeah it's loud and kinda backdated, not that it's not a very alive reality in India till now, but the execution is surprisingly interesting in places. Or probably because Mishal literally fills up every frame of the show. I mean, what an actor. I hate gushing but Mishal is actually one of the finest actors to have been on Indian TV. It's not even debatable anymore. Insane screen presence. The way he switches between boyish charm and intensity is so effortless. I know a lot of you are reminded of his Dutta days but I am getting strong Deja Vu of his Love Story days. Viplav is like a throwback to his adorably arrogant Akash. How gorgeous he was in that show. *sigh*

Eisha needs to work a lot to even come close to Mishal's brilliance. She isn't as bad as I was worried about but her voice gets on my nerves. But I really liked the bit where she looks back at him in wonder. She falters in her fiery bits. She suits the angelic aspect better. They do have surprisingly nice chemistry as evident from the door scene.

Coming to your analysis, fantastic one as usual. I really liked the episode last night and could feel every charged moment. I am kinda intrigued by the family dynamics of Viplav. His granddad is a very interesting presence even though people are annoyed by him lol. His innate hypocrisy coupled with his near obsession for Viplav is puzzling in a way.

Viplav, I don't yet know what to say. He has this boyish, spoilt charm about him and it's quite obvious how he is so spoilt and yet there is this essence of fair play in him, if a bit hypocritical. I liked his monologue about why he saved Dhani to his Dadaji tonight. Made perfect sense. Another thing, Mishal looks absolutely gorgeous. How does the man do it? -_-
