For time pass, ended up watching Saunkan Saunkne (Punjabi movie) starring Ammy Virk, Sargun Mehta, Nimrat Khaira.

Essentially watched because trailer seemed semi-interesting, and the movie version of Nimrat was

Not a bad watch- nothing new in terms of the script, but some of Nimrat and Sargun's comic parts in the middle were very good. The actress playing Ammy Virk's mother is good too!

Very family friendly if that matters as well.

Even available on Dailymotion with English subs if you're looking for it.

Thanks for the suggestion. I am so bored with hindi and south movies now. Nothing seems interesting enough.

The script is nothing very revolutionary (might even appear regressive tbh- elder sister is childless, so marries husband to younger sister 😃)

But the comic parts between the two sisters are good, as is the ML's mother.

I'm even watching Boss Majhi Ladachi on Sony Marathi for the last couple of weeks, but it's very, very slow. Bhagyashree Limaye is 😳 though! Probably helps that I can understand her character's Marathi more easily as compared to some of the other actors.

Wouldn't recommend it as much as Panchayat- it's a grittier watch, but Nirmal Pathak ki Ghar Wapsi on SonyLiv is ok too.

A guy left his village with his baby son years ago- the son returns to the village and finds out what exactly happened to cause his father to leave. Relatively family friendly (apart from the odd swear word here or there).

5 episodes on SonyLiv, there will be a S2.

Btw Neha Rana (Rhea) is appearing on Sitara's Banni Chow Home Delivery at 9pm- also has Ulka Gupta (the young Jhansi ki Rani) and Pravisht Mishra (Barrister Babu guy)

I saw her in a promo- looks like a negative role though!

Was she negative in Chhoti Sardarni too?
