When I was younger I also lived in Panvel, it isn't Mumbai but not too far off. I quite liked that town.
My Grandma tells me, they had a big house in central Bombay years ago.. , and it was all greenery at the time - no crowd.. almost like a jungle.
The essential difference between Mumbai and it's satellite cities is perhaps only 3-4 things, but they're very big things!
Mumbai gets 24x7 water (no tankers/borewells and stuff)
Mumbai gets 24x7 electricity (there is no market for inverters and generators here and there's zero loadshedding)
Mumbai's autos run on meter and will return your change regardless of what language you speak (in some satellite towns of Mumbai, this concept is there too, but in general, the further away from the city you go, the more chances of the auto guy trying to fleece you)
The efficiency of the public transport system means you could pretty much manage without a vehicle- perhaps the only city in India IMO. Want to get back home at 11pm on public transport- easy peasy!
@ bold- nice, this would perhaps have been in the Matunga-Dadar or Sion-Chembur belt I guess 😊
Also, Panvel is supposed to get the new Mumbai international airport, although as with all things Mumbai, let's see how long it takes to become operational!!

We are right now only thinking of Ahaan...
Dadi aur Sarlu ko pata chala to pata nahi kitana kya naya drama karenge
I think Ahaan will not tell anyone that Ishqi is missing to protect her from all taunts. Abhi se usko Ishqi ke saare failaye hue raite sametne padenge😆

is she going to sue param too then🤣
If she wants the whole fandom to sue her, then yes😆

You have a point. But I also thought she just keeps separating her leads to drag the story for no reason, most of her shows get illogical after a certain point - and as far as I can remember, they never get married to the person they love in first attempt.. they get married to someone else and the ML itself changes. 😆
Oh, and the sound effects are too much. Most episodes are filler to just keep the viewer on edge. The viewer would just keep on waiting forever for the leads to actually meet. 🤣
Apart from Hum Panch - I think she really put effort in making Jodha Akbar. The usual Ekta effects and drama were there - but it was toned down a notch than most of her shows.
yes a few leads were never seperated but most were.
there's also kitni mohobbat, kaisa yeh pyaar and kis des lead that never married another if i remember enough that is 😆🤔
but that KZK was terrible. 😵
i dint follow it so cant say much. i only saw the karan vir bohra part coz i was a fan of his after sharaarat 😆

Panvel? I have always heard Nerul or somewhere in Navi Mumbai.
I guess, old Panvel comes under Raigad district while New Panvel is under Navi Mumbai.
@bold, so true. Even 30 years back, my mom tells me they had never faced any power or water shortage.
I think for a common man, if you have a house there.. its the nicest place to live. I haven't been there in 15 years or so; so I'm pretty sure the city must have changed a lot, it must have become more crowded too.
Generally, speaking.. I think the song zara hatke, zara bachke.. yeh hai Mumbai meri jaan is pretty misleading. People of Mumbai are pretty straight forward in their nature. People follow rules and regulations and are helpful. Compared to the cunning culture of Delhi/ UP.

Never watched any of the shows in bold so cant say.
KZK 1, Kumkum etc - I remember them somewhat but I was really young when they aired, I remember one of my teachers was fuming in the class because she was so pissed at the crap these shows were airing. (I faintly remember she was talking to another teacher about a woman letting her husband go for another woman.. I think Kumkum?)

I really liked this from 1st episode. I liked Ahaan here and realized he is not a typical Gul hero who is just angry, uptight, reserved all the time. Ahaan was normal, expressive, vulnerable, and cute. The "Cute" word only suits Ahaan among all Gul's heroes.
I really miss that old positive Daadi 😭😭
