True, some are blessed with fantastic genes. Others not so much.

Some wouldn't even have to take the effort to maintain it; others might need a really strict regimented schedule to prevent any further deterioration (especially for hair and face)

There are certain scenes for Param, where you can guess that he's on the other side of 30. He's still a mighty fine looking actor, but it's visible if you look for it.

I find it sad that in our desi entertainment industry, women's talents and skills are so often overshadowed by their age while men go on to romance girls half their age (sometimes even lesser). Param had to be cast opposite a girl who looked as young as Ishqi, why? What is wrong with casting someone who was like 24-25? Aah yeah, because then she would look older than Param and audience would comment on how the FL doesn't suit the ML at all? I know Param ke case mein this was an issue because of his overall look but this happens even for actors who look their age (in their 30s/40s), gives me such balika vadhu vibes 😆

That's the problem I have. Even if girl looks old, it is okay. They can still have rocking chemistry. But we as a society have not accepted older girl/young man as a norm. Why man has to be older? I guess it would take log time for us to change as a society and break this stereotypes.
