He wants the old Ishqi back-I don’t think he realizes the consequences Ishqi had to face because of his actions. Also, it will be very humbling and embarrassing for him to find out Ishqi did not break the marriage because she liked him. A MAJOR redemption track is needed to redeem Ahaan otherwise it will be hard to watch Ishqaan 💔

Yeah I am hoping that Ahaan is the one to walk out of Rhean wedding because he needs to understand that there is more to a relationship or marriage than societal pressures.

Ahaan's Problem ----- No Closure

After watching Ishqaan confrontation few times, I started thinking that Ahaan's biggest problem with Ishqi is not she chose love over marriage but she chose to be silent about it. His issue is that he has not got closure in their relationship.

If Ishqi tells him she did it because she loves him, he would not really leave Rhea. He will still marry Rhea but forgive Ishqi as she told him the truth and is sorry for her "mistake". He thinks of himself as a righteous/just (in his delusional world😆) person who will forgive if a person is genuinely sorry about it.

But Ishqi is not telling him the truth which means she is not owing up her actions. He thinks and almost sure that the reason is her feelings but Ishqi is not accepting it. He doesn't like lies where it matters and especially in his relationship with Ishqi. That's why he was disappointed in Sonu when she did not own up her mistake during Babaji fiasco.

Dadi told him that Savitri will come back and manipulate him so he will give in to her emotions which is very true. And Dadi knows it and that why she keeps hammering him about her. He puts up this facade of hate/anger for his "Mom" but when she will come he will just break down. The same is happening with Ishqi. Both women left him without directly telling him the truth. He just knows it indirectly, from dadi in case of Savitri and drunk confession in case of Ishqi. He can never be sure and many times might be doubting if there is some other reason. For him, there are many similarities between these two situations. As he doesn't have his mom around, so can't get truth from her but he has the power to do it from Ishqi so is this torture to get the truth. The truth will give him closure.

Ahaan is an emotionally weak person and that is why he gets easily manipulated by everyone around him. He is still like a child who doesn't know what he wants. His heart is drawn towards Ishqi but he has baggage of his past, his mother's running away and dadi's teachings just messed up with him. He doesn't really believe in what dadi says but follows her blindly. That is why he also gets quickly influenced by Chachi, Kartik and Ishqi who voice opposite views as that of Dadi.

But if it is closure he wants - do you think now or after revelation, he would walk out on his marriage with Rhea?? Regardless if Ishqi loves him or not, would his sanskar and the way he is allow him to walk away?


I do agree that when it comes to people he loves and cares for, he genuinely wants to know, help and take care of them. He doesn’t like secrets or hidden truths. His world will collapse when his mother and dadi reality is revealed. With Ishqi he can’t fathom why she stayed silent - in fact I think ever since Ishqi’s drunken episode, he wants or rather needs Her to tell him everything as she did that night - he has come to expect the same candid honesty. It also irks him that she doesn’t seek him out for help or anything.

And yes he is emotionally weak - there was a stark difference today between Ahaan and Ishqi. Despite being broken, she still survived and was resilient where it mattered... whereas his despair and desperation showed in that last scene specifically.

I wonder what Rhea makeout of Ishki and Ahaan's confrontation today..based on her track record in understanding Ahaan, I doubt she will realize he loves her.

Otherwise how come any girl wont sense anything when her boyfriend drooling over some other girl

If that was the case what was the meaning of the message he sent to Ishqi at pool side..Some how I feel he would have chosen Ishqi eventually if she confessed her love for him...But Mayank accused her of plotting a plan and refusing to marriage at last minute to insult his family before attempting to suicide...that escalated his anger

in the last episode before leap he thinks why my heart feels that she did not do anything wrong...but like you said I think her silence is killing her more than anything else.

If it’s just based on Ishqi’s calling off wedding, he won’t choose ishqi over Rhea. Something more needs to happen between ishqaan for him to really choose ishqi. He needs that final push. Ishqi’s saving him from mayank and getting hurt herself and Sonu’s truth revelation will be that push. He will know ishqi can do anything for him/his family and marrying her is the right choice. And as he has been proven wrong about ishqi, he will automatically soften towards her views on love. So I do think he will walk away even if he is not sure about Ishqi’s current choice. His own views are not as rigid as he thinks. I do think that is the next track. He will break off with Rhea much before wedding functions and stay at resort to win over ishqi. This way PH can also justify shooting at resort😆

Yes, he wanted to talk to her about her confession and that’s why he was disappointed that she doesn’t remember. It was not because he wanted to romance her but just be honest with each other. He doesn’t really think that there is absolutely wrong in having feelings for others but his issue is choosing/prioritizing those feelings over your engaged partner. He thinks feelings can be suppressed and should be. He confronted ishqi a day before wedding to talk about her feeling and convince her to prioritize Mayank’s family.

I personally agree with him as talking honestly solves many problems.

I think she is getting soem sense that ahaan is obsessed with ishqi. She may not name it as love though.
